So you think this has only happened to 3 people, more like thousands but remember the posters on here are in general a lot more savvy than most, so the OP noticed the skullduggery
Hmmm - yes. So savvy we have almost daily postings regarding debit card fees and overweight baggage charges.

First time I've heard of something like this though.

:rotfl: you got me there!! But I think you know what I mean.(I did say in general)

So ynot, you think that only 3 people have ever been bumped off of flights onto another? I would hazard that this has happened to hundreds if not thousands over the years, but then RI would just give some excuse that there has been an aircraft change, or cancellation of a flight, or re-scheduling, and most people would just accept it. The OP has caught them out big time.
PS So you can back up your "only 3 people have been affected" statement:rolleyes:
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
  • bumping off flights is more to do with those airlines you think so much off stoneman, they sell more seats and kick off the late arrivals, that dosent happen with ryanair!

so ryanair are bumping off thousands over the years to maximise profits by selling those seats at higher prices....thats cloud cuckoo land im afraid, never heard it or read it, im into conspiracy theories, but not fairy tales from a self confessed ryanair hater who dosent fly with them with no proof or anything of any substance except this one post from beefster

But the card fee's and weight limits are all there for people to read..... I dont have much sympathy with those posts I'm afraid. Just back from a pleasant return to Hahn..... hassle free apart from the zoo at the gate.... but at £70 return.. another bargain.

Am i put of using them any more... no! Take the rough with the smooth....

I will approach customer services when at the airport next week to check if they can throw any light on the changes.... I expect the usual fob off tho.
I save so I can spend.
  • i agree beefster, take the rough with the smooth, they are a ruthless company who provide an excellent service, take the great prices while you can and accept the lack of customer care when it does go wrong.

and without saying as much thats how michael o leary looks at it, take their money for a great service and sod them when it goes wrong, its the general public who dont like it and how it should be so different

i will take the prices and be ready for the !!!! ups

Post back and let us know if you have any joy.

As I said, I've not heard of it before but that doesn't mean someone else might not find themselves in the same boat (or plane :D) in the future.
