MOTs are free to Audi customers. I can't find any cheaper than that...

Just used the council MOT test centre in Dunfermline following MSE advice. For the first time ever I've been told my car has passed it's MOT without a shopping list of repairs to be done. Followed the tips to do simple checks before I took it in and I'm over the moon with the results. Well worth doing.

Garage_owner

Many garages offer mots very cheap which is great for the customer at this current time but once you get sucked in and book your mot, they have your wallet in there hands.
£30 mot signs I see most days driving through my local area Clydebank I do chuckle as I drive by this. At my garage I charge over £50 for mot and I am quite happy at doing this and making an honest living out of it.
Once I heard the £30 mot testers were charging labour for fitting a bulb and charging astronomical amounts for bulbs I then realised I was still charging a fair amount.
Please let me know your thoughts or stories from your cheap mots...

Hi,

Does anyone know of any council centres around Stirling/Falkirk area that do MOTs??

Or of any reputable garages etc that carry out MOTs they could recommend? Just moved to the area and people I've asked don't seem to know the price or remember where they go usually so haven't got much help
