Hi
Have you considered a Smart Roadster/Roadster Coupe????
Don't laugh - they go like stink, are great fun to drive and do about 300 - 350 miles on approx 30 quid of super unleaded! Plus, the road tax is quite cheap - currently £120 a year, but going down to £90 next year!

Had 1 for almost 3 years, best car I ever owned.
Had it re-mapped and it was like a certain substance off a shovel and very reliable.(still got 45mpg)
Even better its only in insurance group 9, for a 1.9 that is pretty good IMO. Can't wait to get one!!:money:"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

In a similar quandary - I currently have a 1.9 TDI Fabia (not the VRS). My mileage has dropped so thinking of getting something a bit faster, maybe a coupe or something. Tempted by a hyundai coupe, celica, pug 206/306 GTI.
Fabia VRSes probably start around £5k at least, but they ae great cars especially remapped. I would get one if I had 5k or so but my budgets only about 3k.matched betting: £879.63

Yep hopefully be getting one next year..just noticed road tax for my hocus pocus focus is going up to £99.95 for 6 months where as skoda is £65.
Just saving the pennies at the moment.
P.S Acid, if you look hard enough you may be able to get one for just over £5k.
I have copyright on hocus pocus focus...0 -

I was just looking at Fabia vRS secondhand prices today, and the cheapest on Autotrader is around £5k - but with 120k miles.
Now, sometime next year there might be a nice one for sale with under 30k miles ...
... I'll PM you maniac. 0 -
