I just try and stay away, safest thing i think. Then i don't get as tempted, have to try and stay off the websites too though. There is a dress i really want at the moment as am hopefully going on holiday next month but am going to wait till the end of the month to see if i have any money left.0

I count myself lucky that I work in the middle of nowhere and my lunch break is only half an hour so I can't go anywhere and spend money! I'd be terrible if I worked in a city centre, it'd probably cost me to go to work!If we had a Sunday Confessional my list would be a mile long! Where is my will power??? I think Dinah stole mine as she surely has more than is healthy for one person!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Good plan wendz. No confessional for you!
I did buy something on my MS last night, a 69p (half price) bag of maltesers and friends mini eggs, but then mum gave me £5 for the £3 of shopping I did for her on the shop, so they were basically free anyway, and I got £11 for going!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I work in a market town! We have one womens clothes shop (dorothy perkins), lots of little key-cutters, hairdressers and butchers, as well as the yorkshire woolen mill and various opticians. My only temptation really is the art shop... love to go in and sniff the paint.
Speaking of which, I've been working 20 mins extra each day this week so I can finish at 3.45 ish tomorrow and have a really long evening painting AND get home to NIM before he goes to work for a quick hug and a kiss.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Dinah! Stealing Birdies will power *tut tut*
I'm trying to slash my spends now, taking OH to the cinema tomorrow to try and cheer him up but that'll all be in budget for the week! Luckily my insurance will only be £75 so easily covered. *claps hands*
ETA: Sounds like a lovely plan for tomorrow night Dinah! How long is it you're doing the monthly (is it monthly?!) paintings for NIM for?0 -
Yay for cheap insurance! Though I know mine's only so cheap because my car's an old banger, ahem, vintage classic!
Birdie, I worked on an industrial estate in the middle of nowhere a couple of years ago and paid of about £2.5k of debt in three months without even trying. Shame I had to rack it up again, but never mind!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Ahem! I'm two, nearly three paintings behind now! Poor boy only has two so far. Hoping to get the drawings done for one, maybe two and transfer it over onto the canvas (my least fave part!). Have already got one drawing done just need to find it, have lots of ideas for important moments, but how to actually put an experience into a snapshot and put it into paint is proving harder than expected!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Are you good at painting then or do you just do it for pleasure? I'm rubbish at anything arty really, would love to be able to paint but i'd end up getting annoyed and throwing paint over the canvas shouting "Black! Black! You lock me in the cupboard and feed me pins!" like that bloke off the Fast Show.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I think the quality of my paintings is hugely variable! I have a couple that I am very pleased with *she ponders, and can come up with about 3 off the top of her head* but mostly it's a 'could do better' offense! Keep meaning to get a book made up of my paintings, just one of those little photo books, for when people ask to see them, but then I think its too big headed and I delete the book in progress! Don't think you can ever get an objective perspective from the person making something, too much blood sweat and tears goes into it and they're never happy with it!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
