Instead of staying in and doing some free baking I decided to go into town and get some bits to make a carepackagey kind of thing for OH. He's completely broke this month already, doesn't help Ladbrokes sent him on a 100 mile trip and only gave him £10 for petrol! Got him bits for lunch, his favourite snacks and drinks. Plus asda had loads of bath stuff for men for £1 so grabbed lots of that too. Shockingly only came too £11!
NIM sounds such a sweetie Dinah, and your OH too Birdie!! I love it when OH does little bits like that out of the blue. Bless 'em!
Aw what a lovely girlfriend you are! See it works both ways, I think it's important to do little things like that ourselves to remind them why they love us so much!Tete - The jacket sounds lovely. Have a great weekend, OH went up Scafell Pike a bit ago. Says it's fantastic.
Goody, we've been printing off some lower-down alternatives in case there's some hill fog but the forecast is good so hopefully we'll make it up there! Problem is, once we've done that a boring old walk on the Cleveland Hills will seem tame!Go to Oxford Street Poddle! I know I shouldn't tell you too, but even for a bit of window shopping it wouldn't hurt..
 We can always rely on Spendy Cinny to be a bad influence!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hey! Tell NIM to stay away from my turf!!!! I know you've said about a hundred times before but my memory is rubbish, which agencies do you use?
Lol he had 9 on the Barracks at Catterick, Ripon and Thirsk yesterday and a petrol job (basically £10 free petrol) at Ripon. He couldnt do all the barracks jobs in the end mind. Gapbuster and Retail Eyes always seem to have jobs in that neck of the wood hanging around for ages. We also use GFK (daily new jobs) and Grassroots (only get a couple a month). No idea if they have lots of jobs in your area as its not in our serach area. We refuse to use Bare as they are rubbish, and really rude if you ask a question. I am subscribed to instant updates on the alerts thread on the up your income board, its the best way to get in and get the jobs, i found i never got anything if i only checked on an evening.
Thats quite rubbish on the petrol front for your OH Cinny. Mine would pay me about £33, which admiteddly is about double what petrol would actually cost, but its supposed to go towards wear and tear caused on the car and so on (especially important when I reversed into a stream in Loftus!).
Got to admit, I do think of Cinny as the 'spendy' one on here, which makes it all the more ridiculous what her mum and sister are saying!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I think of Cinny as Spendy Cinny too, I probably fritter away a lot more on rubbish than she does (new pair of shoes on Saturday...ahem) but I keep it secret whereas Cinny tells us all therefore getting the reputation!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Hi everyone,
I work just off Oxford Street, it is a nightmare as am so tempted to spend my lunches shopping. I have to come on here instead to distract myself!0 -
I guess I am the spendy one. But I go for days without spending anything so goodness knows what you thrifty noodles do! I think I'm just too quick to confess my spends. And even with my spends i'm the thrifty one in the family
Just a heads up that AQA seem to be wanting to take people on in England now, sempt for ages they just wanted Irish folk.
Wendz that must be hell! You have way more will power than me, but I think everyone does!0 -
Poor Cinny, and she's so good all the time! Out of everyone I think of myself as being most spendy, but then I probably don't confess half of it to you!
Can anyone remember a while back Immoral Angel used to do a Sunday Confessional, where we'd all have to go on and say "Bless me Martin for I have sinned, this week I have bought... this, this and that" - I don't know if she still does it, it was really good!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Excellent, thanks for the heads up Cinny. Will get me and NIM onto that if I can.
Honestly? I can go almost the entire month buying nothing more than petrol, an eyebrow wax, and only required purchases for MS! Oh and gum, I have a gum problem.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Wendz, I work in Middlesbrough and the temptation to spend is too much! Don't know how you do it there!!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I can be a bit naughty at times but feel incredibly guilty. I don't buy half as much as i would like to0
