Oooh your friends deal sounds good Poddle. I don't really mind about character, so long as its clean, with no dressing gown excursions!

It might have been Cinny who mentioned it, will have to pick her brains later.

I think it must of been me, I have the link bookmarked at work but haven't actually caught any yet. I got an email from lastminute this morning about some sales they were having over the next few weeks, plus a hotel sale on tonight from 8:30 (2 for 1 I think, so I'll be trying to grab one for Kent!) I'll post the dates up when I get back from walking the pooches. And have a proper read and catch up!

Hope everyone's having a nice day!

ETA: Lastminute are having their 'when it's gone it's gone' sales on the 22nd and the 29th April and one on the 13th of May. Plus the 2 for 1 Hotel sale tonight. Still due for a catch up, posting fast as my battery is about gone and I've lost the charger. Off on a wild goose chase now.

Is there a link to the sale tonight at 8.20 or just on the general site?
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

    Woops!!
The sale is just on the homepage of the site. Done a search for general hotels and they're all about 30miles out of where we need to be in Kent so no use to me! Good luck if anyone on here goes for one, or two. (:

    Hey hey

Well done on the job NIM!

Great news on the studying Cinny - I reckon you should do Accounts in the daytime and baking in the evening, and then you can drop the one you don't like.

Flower - don't be worrying too much about your career. What are you studying? Are you going okay with your dissertation? Would you consider some work experience?

Dinah - WOW on the mystery shops, you two are back all guns blazing! I think it's a great idea to simplify the accounts, and it will be so good to be DF. You'll have to mark the occasion with some nice champagne with NIM or something and reflect on all that hard work.

Good news from me - I submitted my application for Lancaster this evening. Hooray!

Now I am drinking £3.50 red wine on the sofa in my painting clothes. We have painted the little weird 'study' room light grey/slate but over yellow it has come out a ferocious lilac - oops. Getting DIY lust - IKEA is calling ....

Hi Lara - i am studying criminology and the idea always was i would work within some sort of crime prevention, whether it would be the police or prison. And although i have loved every minute of my course, i just dont know if thats what i want anymore - which makes it seem a complete waste of time. I know its not, but i just stress over it when i really shouldnt.
I think i am going to take my mums advice and just take maybe 6 months off, take some holidays, decide what it is i really want to do, rather than just jump into anything.

Dissertation is going ok, quite scared at how soon its due. I know i will be done on with time to spare, but im still stressing over it, cant wait to just get it handed in!

Great news that you got your application submitted!

I cant remember the last time i went to ikea, i love that shop!

    How are you anyway?

Ooh, DIY lust is a terrible thing. IKEA is a demon in itself 'ooh, it's only £2!' then you get home and wonder what you're going to do with 100 rainbow tealights!

Well done with submitting your application too Lara.
I wish I could lend a hand or helpful words Flower but I don't have a clue when it comes to uni! Criminology sounds really interesting though!

After cancelling the holiday with OHs family I feel so much better, but I'm hankering after a week away. Looking at holiday cottages now, just somewhere peaceful where I can read lots of books and a hopeful bit of tanning. Thinking somewhere on the coast, need to chat it over with OH Friday.
