Hmm, there is a definite theme of girls who like books and cats on this thread!! You're all making me jealous with talk of jim-jams and snuggling down for the night while I have to get my frock and heels on and go out dancing tomorrow
Well I've been having a little look on DooYoo and reading through some reviews and stuff while I was gobbling my jacket spud and I think I will join, even if I only do a review or two a day in my *ahem* dinner hour, it'll soon add up. I took a wild guess at your username Dinah and see you've even reviewed a banana guard, so I shouldn't be short of subjects!!! What info do you need then to refer me and I'll send you a PM - another 50p for the fund! :TWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I do love my cats and snuggling up with them in my jammies but when they wake me up at 5 in the morning scratching the mirror and knocking things over (one has taken a fancy to my dalek) I wish I was a dog person.
I wish I could snuggle down tomorrow night too but I'm going to sheffield to see if they can find nemo on ice. Looking forward to it but it's so cold. Hope you have fun dancing!
Dinah, that meal sounds yummy!! Are you throwing the carrots in to roast with the potatoes?0 -
Just PM me your email addy please! If you add me to your circle of friends when you join I'll make sure to rate your review a day!
Yep, I tend to stick to the same username, I review the most random stuff! But I find it easier to do random reviews than review my carton of milk!
Frock and heels make me jelous in an abstract sense, but I'm a nester in winter and it's not rempting enough to tempt me out. My cat is in my bad books this morning, every morning she meows outside my room at 6am until mum lets her come in and sleep on the end of my bed. This morning however she decided to wake me up by licking my eye - woke up with a start so she dug her claws into my forehead! She's generally a cutie though, All black apart from a little white bib, and very small. My gran has kept cats all her life and she says Pushka is the most placid cat she ever knew - she even hugs up to the rabbit when he'll let her! (Cat, not my grannie!).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hmmm that's not a bad plan, I do love roasted carrots!
Might see if I can use my two recipies as my reviews on Dooyoo this evening!
OH is in Cork today to get references for the LPC, so won't be back to talk to until lateish. We found out once he's done the LPC he has forever to find a training contract, so have decided he will do it now while he's young as opposed to going back in 10 years and taking a huge drop in wages, and then if he doesn't get a training contract, he can just keep applying year after year, and maybe go to do a masters so that his undergrad result isnt so important.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ouch but awwh!!
It's horrible to admit but I do have a favourite with my kitties, Dinah my long haired black moggie. Mainly because she just flops on your lap and goes to sleep! But that's because she's an indoor cat so i spend the most time with her.

Yep my Pushka is an indoor cat who does little except sleep and make a racket wanting strokes. Actually you can answer me a question, I've never had a cat before, am I supposed to trim her claws?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Email address sent Dinah thanks. I'm actually quite looking forward to getting started, but reading some of the crititcal comments people write I'm a bit scared as well!
I have to leave my bedroom door open for the cats otherwise they pull the carpet up outside. Sally likes to lie on the highest point of the bed, so either your chest or side, but she's such a big fat lump that you wake up feeling short of breath. You wake up in the night and there she is on tp of you going "PURRPURRPURRPURRPURRPURR", she's a sweetheart really.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Pushka is such a sweet name! Cat's trim their own claws naturally by scratching carpets or your sofa. There are meanies who put 'soft claws' on their cats though to stop them doing it.
finally managed to work my pile of work down now, i'm back to doing nothing!0 -
Yup Push uses me as a climbing frame too, I always thought that was wierd but clearly it's not!
Have sent the Dooyoo referal, my brothers went to his spam folder so it might go in there. Between you and Cinny you've got me £1 closer to having OH here so big thanks for that as well as having the patience to read my thread, and post to keep me company :grouphug:Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

What are soft claws?! Imagining fake nails for a cat....
I have sellotape around the corners of my sofa to stop her tearing it to shreds, but she goes to town on the bottom of the stairs carpet!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
