Just as I went to bug her she went for a cup of tea  She hasn't even started work properly yet as my uncle has been nagging her since she got here at 9. Poor thing!!

Just realized I haven't bought any lunch with me.. oh dear. I bought a load of baking in this morning and unless the cleaners have raided it I should be able to gobble on a brownie or 2.

£70 of amazon vouchers *mentally buys books* Well done on onepoll too, that's taking me forever!

    *edit*
Just wondering, are ebay having a cheap posting day? I put things on on the other day for 13p and today it's only 8p

Well my brother wants a DVD for christmas, so i'll order that with my vouchers this weeekend, and see if they have any bits for OH since almost everyone else is covered already.

My dad ate my lunch for supper last night (ah the perils of living at home!) so I'm on a few bananas today. Need to go to the supermarket though as I'm making dinner tonight so need to get some bits and bobs.

I think I have a small tub of pringles in the kitchen, which will have to do me as I have no cash with me today any my loving family members are out working so I can't pinch any of theirs.

Haha, oh dear! You must be very prepared with your dinners, I normally just slap something together in the morning and hope it works.
  • I want in on the act! What do you do with Yoodoo (that's a bit of a tongue-twister!)? Just register and then review stuff? Everywhere you've ever been, everything you've ever bought/done?? You both seem to have accumulated points quickly, amd then you get an Amazon voucher - or is there a choice? Sorry, questions, questions!

Bit of snow here this morning, my colleague says it was hail because apparently it hit his ear and it hurt, but I say snow because it seemed all round and bouncy to me. Supposed to be going out round Newcastle tomorrow for my friend's birthday and I have to say it's not a very appealling thought in the sleet/snow. Must be my age.

Sorry to your collegue, but that made me giggle!

You can review anything on dooyoo, then you get extra points when people rate your reviews. I've done 12 reviews so I would only have 6000 points but I have 7830 (i think) because of ratings.

You just have to make sure it's over 150 words, if you join send me your username and i'll give you lots of nice ratings to get you going! I've seen people cheating with products though by writing the ingredients to add words*tsk tsk*

Oh, it's 10,000 points for an amazon voucher or you can hold on to 50,000 and get a nice little cheque for you trouble! You only redeem your points when you want too.

Hehe, Dooyoo. Yep you can review a lot of places, but its mostly items, so anything you've bought from the supermarket, read, watched on tv, listened to etc etc. If you want a referal PM me as then I get 50p :p The community don't seem to look kindly on 'churners', people who toss out 5 or more reviews per day at 151 words, but put time into it and they will read it and give lots of rates and maybe a crown and it actually pays better than lots of little ones.

I'm supposed to be in Newcastle tomorrow too - not going though - far too chilly! I'm spending the weekend in my jammies alternating between Dooyoo, surveys, and my book!

Forgot that bit! Or if you're really nice you can donate to charity at 5000, but I doubt many people who can afford to do that write reviews.

Just went to get the bits at the shop to make dinner tonight, how come the value potatoes are only sold in huge bags? 10kg of potatoes for someone on foot who has the upper body strength of a child is too much! Couldn't believe how much it came to, nearly £11, but then I went through the receipt and realised I about £4 of that is things that are ongoing like carrots, the rest of the 10kg of potatoes and the huge tub of gravy granules and won't just be used tonight, so I don't think £2 a head for 2 courses is all that bad. I refused to buy the butter though, it used to be 24p for a value pack now it was 89p! Just hoping we have some in the fridge otherwise my chocolate and pear bread and butter pud will be sans butter!

A 65p price jump for the butter is silly!! Good luck with your meal tonight, the dessert sounds yummy! Who is it you're cooking for?

Just coming off my lunch bread, my lovely brother bought me some soup with bread and butter so I'm stuffed! Although I've had to basically hand my soul over to him for a week it was worth it.

The accountant lady has given me abit of work to do, and there is a same mound of work building up from where people are dropping stuff off :j finally! Looking forward to watching the IT crowd, cosied up with my cats eating some green and blacks chocolate.

Mmmm, love Green & Blacks. Too skint at the moment though, I'm on the value stuff! I even got my lunch by eating all the free samples in the supermarket, then having my banana I brought from home! The mince pies were amazing though, so I bought a pack, got back to work and a lady pointed out they were on BOGOF, so I should have gotten a free one and didn't.

Just cooking for my dad, brother and brothers friend who lives with us. So went with cheap, warm and filling. Turkey, apple and leek meatloaf with roasties, carrots and gravy, then the bread and butter pud which is so thick it could be used as a flood defence! Fairly sure a pud with 600ml of cream in is unhealthy enough to balance out the goodness of the main course!
