My nephew Daniel was really freaked out by people speaking Danish - he couldn't understand why he didn't know what the people were saying, LOL.
He'll pick it up really easily Lara - kids have brilliant sponge brains for learning languages, they can learn a few different languages at the same time and never get them mixed up, any kid who has the chance to grow up bilingual is really lucky. We only start to lose the ability to pick up language once we're about 10 or 11, the very age they start teaching them in British schools  No wonder we all go abroad asking for 'uno beero pedro sivoo play danka shorn!" :rolleyes:Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
haha! Thankfully no one is in the office to see me laughing at a computer screen. Bless you two!
It's weird thinking OH is picking me up after work, I feel like it's Friday. Getting all giddy about his presents now, honestly, you'd think I was getting them myself the way I'm going.0 -

According to wikipedia: pistol shooting, !p!e fencing, 200 m freestyle swimming, show jumping, and a 3 km cross-country run ...
Not that sporty really - you stand still to shoot, fencing's just jumping about with a sword, swimming is low impact, show jumping the horse is doing all the work .. and everyone always slows to a walk once they're out of sight on the cross country.
So you can tell OH that actually you're loads fitter doing YOUR pentathlon than that little upstart doing the proper one!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I don't think I'd fair too well if he started lusting after an actual person.
We had a 'little hiccup' last year when he got back from a boys holiday and started slyly texting a girl he made friends with! I was beyond jealous/mad/upset about it, especially when I saw on his facebook that she'd tagged a picture of him calling him 'Sexy Rich'. He swears nothing happened but I've still got a niggly doubt that maybe there was something although his best friend got drunk a few months ago and told me how boring he'd been on holiday talking about me all the time and how much he'd missed me.I let it go after giving him a big telling off about it, he has had no contact with her since I told him to think about it from my point of view. In a way it's made us stronger as he knows he nearly lost me over it all and won't risk that happening again.

LOL! I'll tell him, he doesn't realise how much work I'm actually doing when I'm out spending money! Especially with my weak little legs! God, I hated cross country, I was always in the last group to finish, we used to take it in turns to be last over the finish line! :rotfl:

My Lord! I completely get you on that, I can't think of anyone who wouldn't of acted or thought just the same. Even though it's over I'm sending you a dodgy hug, although the smilies are all little crosses to me atm so I can't actually find it.
Nearly 12 so I best scoot! Make it look like I'm working before the office switch over, have a nice day everyone!0 -

God, Birdie, that would drive me insane, you're a better woman than me! I get funny when OH talks about his HOUSE he had with his ex. He never talks about her because he can't stand her, but if says something about how he used to love his little garden or something, I get all funny, I can't help it. I don't for a minute think he'd cheat on me with her or anyone, I just always think he must be thinking how much better she was than me. And I find it a bit upsetting that when we do finally get it together to move in together it'll be all exciting for me but not for him because he's already done itHe doesn't stand for any of this kind of talk though, he takes it as an insult that I think he thinks like that, so I try to keep it under wraps
I must sound like a horrible jealous girlfriend now
Have a lovely afternoon Cinny, hope he likes the cake and pressies!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I think the problem is that we girls feel too much! Guys just don't get it. My OH thought that he'd keep this 'friend' quiet because he knew I'd get jealous when there was 'nothing' to be jealous of, but he didn't think that if I'd find out (and I always find out, that's the problem with being smarter than him!) it'd just make things worse! He also thought that telling me he'd stopped texting her but carrying on would work, again I found out and went ape-poo! Luckily my OH never had a really super serious GF before me, his longest relationship pre-me had lasted less than a year and he spoke of her with such disdain that it's not bothered me, although when I met his friends they seemed so surprised by me that it made me wonder what his old GF's had been like! My Ex never introduced me to his his friends because 'I wasn't their type of person' so I had issues there already!
I'm sure your OH will be excited about living with you, my OH has been living with various friends since he was 18 but was still excited about living with me because he wants a home with his (still secret!) fiancee, not a lads pad. And I don't think you sound like a horrible jealous girlfriend, you sound like a girl who loves her OH very much and wants to know that he loves her just as much! :happyhearOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary.
