Sorry Pilchard!
Spent £21 in boots today, some bendy rollers, soft hair brush and a big clip. Surprising how much it cost! Now sat here looking like a right numpty in the curlers. Really wanting to get that perfect 1940s wave.
Everything went well at OHs house, they sempt to like the brownies and cupcakes! Now he's gone home so no more OH until next friday/saturday.
Hope everyone has a nice, restful, end of weekend. Back to work tomorrow!0 -

Evening all. Busy day for us, went over to have our induction at the gym this morning, I'm so unfit! Also seems I have an issue with my right knee, always hurts when I ride, but apparently I strongly lead with that leg when exercising too, so need to do non impact exercise to build it up.
Went and did my two MS, one went fine, except 2 of the 6 staff I had to access did not have a visible name badge. In the other it was a nightmare, I was supposed to wait ten mins for someone to approach me to help, then ask one for help, but I couldn't find anyone! So I went to the till and was told no one was available as it was 'time for the fish'.....If I get paid for that it's a miracle! Also went to get some swimming goggles and the sports shop had this fantastic sale on, got 5 bikinis for £1 per piece (top/pants), so £10 total - that's me sorted for Egypt! Also a lot of their gym gear was crazy prices, got a pair of Airwalk smart combat type trousers for £5 down from £42.99, and several pairs of yoga pant type things £19.99 down to £4, and a couple of T-shirts for £2 a pop. So now I'm very sorted for the gym, and can gratefully throw out my one pair of yoga pant/joggers things I've had for 5 years that have a big iron burn hole in the leg!
I'm going to go back on OH's Dooyoo account now, to do more reviews for our camera fund, OH is finishing tidying the room, he prefers doing that to writing the reviews!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sh*tface answers me back. I'll be mindlessly talking to 'myself' and he'll pipe up. I can actually keep that going for a while in the mornings 'so you think I should fly to work using a jet pack styled out of oust cans then?'....'Meow' now it's just known as 'Sh*tface Agrees'
Sounds like you found yourself a right Aladdins Cave there Dinah! :T Terrible to say but have you thought about getting a few to put on ebay? Holiday season is coming up so people will be scouting for a bargain.0 -
A few of them might end up on ebay anyway, tried them on last night and some of them are so teeny they're indecent! Might say size 10 in the label but you can't have any boobs at all!
Got them at Sports Direct at Teesside Park, upstairs in wierd hanging boxes below the swimwear, for anyone interested!
Forogt to say I had to fork out for 2 new tyres over the weekend, as my front ones were illegal, so that's another £78 gone.
OH was amenable to me paying the gym membership for the year, while he covers the whole holiday now. Just need him to get a full time job so we can fill both ISAs before the tax year ends, as at this rate I think that we will be about 1.5k short. So, debt busting is now officially on a go slow until April, only the £200 a month to grandad, and one more £25 payment to CC2 until that is fully paid off. So, we need to be able to save £35 a day, atm OH hours don't even cover the money he needs for rent and petrol to get to work, so this all needs to come from me or extra money making. Just need to finish off tidying the room so we can actually get listing these last bits on ebay. For the first time ever my debt doesn't seem never ending.
After April 1st my plan for my money is as follows. £200 to grandad, the £165 minimum payment that used to go to the CCs now goes into savings account to pay off the OD when I have enough saved up, and any extra that comes into the account during the month goes into this too, ie amazon, ebay, STP etc. Exception to this is surveys, as NIM helps out so much with this I want this money to go into the house fund ISA. At the end of the month, any money left over (usually £200-£600) goes into the ISA towards the house fund. Once I've paid off the OD and grandad, all this will go into the ISA too, however I want to pay off the debts first, plus in some small way it keeps me financially seperate from NIM in case of emergency, until I feel a little more certain he's not going to panic and run back to Ireland!
So, the debt busting is going to slow down, but since it is 0% and will have savings that offset this in an emergency I'm happy enough with this, however I am going to try to find a way to add some more lines into my sig to add in the house deposit savings ISAs.
Sent off the letter to Barlcaycard recorded delivery on Friday, giving them two weeks to make a better offer or it goes to court (read ombudsman). If I can get that through before the end of the tax year, I'm sorted as that's about 1/3 of the money we need to find to fill the ISA.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Shame about the bikinis! I'm a swimsuit person myself, seen some amazing vintage ones I'd love for Cornwall, but as much as I like vintage I don't think I could bring myself to wear someone elses, bleh. Is it wrong I'm already scouting for holiday dresses?
Fingers crossed you'll get Barclays sorted this time around! Your MS/Debt Busting plan sounds like a good one to me. And for what it's worth, I don't think NIM will be running off into the sunset!0 -
Hope he doesn't, I'd be pretty devastated. Although if he did vanish into the sunset, he'd probably be going so fast he forgot to haggle over the ISAs!
Need bikinis by the pool, but I only wear swimsuits in England, too pale and snow white and every inch of extra warmth counts! Have mine with me today, got a pilates class at 7.30, but going to either swim or go to the gym part of David Lloyd before I do my flopping on a mat session. Tbh I don't think I have the upper body strength to successfully swim atm!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
