    Hey Ladies -

Gosh yes lots of wedding planning going on- Valentines mania! I am so looking forward to tomorrow, just having a super chilled day out. We are going to call at the market and get some nice dinner treats, some olives, cheese and sundried tomatoes and definitely some brownies (yum).

I bought my OH a little pressie - mugs with a ceramic biscuit inside -

OH is working at Sheffield United grounds today so I'm having a rare Saturday alone! Made 24 cupcakes and 20 brownies though so it's not gone to waste.

I've been on the Irish man of nekkidness's dooyoo? I never knew!

    Ooh, I'm a poet.

Feeling a bit all over today, made some pasta but I can't eat it. My Uncle and Dad are at the office having to lay the plumbers off, I really didn't think things were this bad. My Uncle was actually crying at the thought of doing it, and he's a big burly biker man!

On the brighter side, sending the cheque off for the caravan so that's my holiday for this year sorted, something to look forward to! Off to tackle this pasta.

    Right, that's dirty!

Really sorry about the plumbers, horrible for all concerned.

Managed to get OH insurance for only £365 with Diamond, Me as policy holder, him as car owner and main driver, dad as a named driver as for some reason this made it cheaper. He's all excited that he now owns a car. Would suggest going to the cinema tonight to celebrate, but it's valentines yukkyness.

Alright, I walked right into that one!

Good job on his car insurance! Sounds like he's all set and ready to go, you should go to the cinema anyways, isn't valentines yuck if you're going to celebrate him getting a car!

Up to £6.90 on my TAB account now. Got 25p today after a week of 10p.

It's horrible for the plumbers, but we're hoping things will pick up later on in the year, in the mean time it looks like Dad will be donning his boiler suit once more.

    Afternoon everyone

I haven't visited for 2 days and the forum's gone mad!!! How many pages?????????? Dinah, good on you for the holiday. It's great when you find a decent price isn't it. I'm going to Tenerife in 2 weeks with my boyfriend, parents and sister and booked apartment privately and flights seperately. When I looked at tour operators prices I've saved over £650 and we have a much nicer apartment because it's private (we went there last year too). Got to say, New York is proving tempting cos we're thinking of going in October for my birthday and from the posts here I can get it cheaper than I thought. At the moment I'm working a lot of overtime to try and get my debts down but if I put a bit aside each month you never know.

As for the gym, I've decided I need to join one as I look like a pregnant fairy but I'm not pregnant so ahve decided I need to pay something off to free up the money each month. Also got to talk OH into it too. Mind you, I think I've put a few pounds on looking at Cinny's cake avatar and looking at how she's been baking cookies and stuff. I want some!!!!

Anyway, everyone have a good rest of the weekend. I'm off to iron now and find chocolate.............!
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:
