  • Mel does that wink mean what I think it means ;):D

Chance would be a fine thing...after my visit to the docs last week and thinking everything was okay my bleeding has got worse. I am back on maternity pads :o sorry TMI.

...and there is not much point in having pammie-boobies when my son is constantly swinging from one of them :rotfl:

Blimey MFD, are you back off up the Dr's for it? Really feel for you mate!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Last time I went he basically told me that for the first 6 weeks they don't do anything...if there was tons of clotting I would go back but it is mainly bleeding (some little clots). They took a swab to check for infection and they haven't called me back in so at least I know it is probably not anything nasty.

I have my 6 week check a week on Monday so my body has until then to sort itself out.

In the meantime I am taking iron supplements...to be honest I would rather the bleeding than have to go in for a 'scrape'

Just thought of this MFD: when I had James, some of the placenta broke up and remained inside. They were debating if they should do a D&C, but decided to just leave me and see what happened, as I didn't want a general anaesthetic (I come out of them very badly!) That meant my bleeding took longer than normal and it was clotty. Is it possible for that to have happened to you?

Took Charlotte to one of those big soft play barns today. She wasn't interested at all in the small toddler frame and played on the big frame instead. James was with her and she managed to climb all the way to the top by herself and they came down a big twisty tube slide together. What a dare devil! She loved it and didn't want to come home.

Joshua has been on a football course at the Sunderland academy today. They had scouts there, so he's desperately hoping for a letter to say they want to sign him for Sunderland!
Here I go again on my own....
  • I put on mascara to take Danny to the shops today

I had the nappy from hell today not sure what I've been feeding her but she certainly seemed in a better mood after that, as they say

You ladies will be able to answer this.

Are mothercare nursing bra's wired or non wired? And does anyone know where to get wired ones from? I just realised that I will need them before baby is born so I can wear them in hospital if she is in SCBU...

I really can't remember what the old ones were like.
  • Can I just clarify my Slummy Mummy status please?! :p.

Yesterday I was in my PJ's until 4pm ONLY because DH was at home so he took the children to my Mums :D. Usually I'm showered and hairwashed every day while Poppy naps (Jamie has to go with the flow ;)). And I know its odd but I put makeup on even if I'm not going out. I love lipstick! :rotfl:.

    xx
