    Hi CG

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat, I'm dreading the day I loose any of mine, especially telling DD.

    ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( BIG HUG )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

    Happy birthday Agutka _party_

My DD is suffering at the moment, she has conjunctivitis in both eyes, she started on Saturday afternoon, I got the Optrex drops off the chemist Sunday, but I went back today as they aren't working so I've now got Fusidic Acid drops for her, which should hopefully work.

She's being very good with it though as long as teddy gets his eyes bathed and drops in first! :A

    Mummy boast warning

She went to toddler group today without a nappy or pull up on and was dry the whole time she was there and asked mum for the potty everytime.

We've only been doing it a few weeks, and she's not 2 till next month! (completely her idea). She even woke up at midnight last night for the potty!
Proud to be dealing with my debts

MDW - Sorry to bring a bit of a downer but you really shouldn't be taking her to toddler groups while she has conjunctivitis as it is contagious :(
:T for her on the potty training tho!! :D

CG: so sorry you puddy has passed :(
There is a chance we may have to have both mine and my dad's dog to sleep (dogs are mother and daughter and live at my parents because I couldn't bear separate them when I left home) Chris loves them and I'm sure due to his age he'd 'get over it' quickly but still I don't want to.
My Meg is my original baby and I am completely torn over what is best for her and her mummy, fingers crossed they will be fine for years to come tho, it was Meg's 10th Birthday Thursday last week, I can't believe I've had her so long she's now 70

Sorry to hear about your cat CG and your dog Sami-Bee. I've had to make the decision to let poorly dogs go and it's heartbreaking. You need to do what's best for the dog though and I think you know in your own mind when the time is right.

Taking Charlotte for new shoes this morning. She's on a growing spurt and her toes are right at the end of her shoes now. I've been checking them over the last few weeks, and now she keeps going round checking everyone elses shoes :D
Here I go again on my own....

    Thanks Beccles :)
Chris does the shoe thing too, When I put shoes on he pushes his thumb on ur toes and then says "too big" or "too small" :rotfl:
Thankfully his feet seem to have slowed down this year, at the end of last year he had 3 new sizes in about 4 months  Its a good job my mum insists on paying for him to have clarks shoes! (I'm sure this is just so she gets to keep saying the immortal line "but you always had clarks shoes!" which she always says when we talk about how we didn't have much growing up :p
I have to remind her that I'm not complaining or criticizing, I loved my childhood!! I'd much rather have the fun and time together we did, than the flash car and holidays that require a plane!!

  • We had 8 week checkup today. I didn't realise first lot of imunisations were today too (probably should have, but so many leaflets and things to read I lost track. She was very brave. Screamed a bit after the first one, but was ok once I cuddled her for a bit, and winced a little bit at the second one, but was too busy eating to complain too much. A girl after my own heart ;)

She has been a little bit grumpy this afternoon, but not too bad, and doesn't seem to have a temperature or anything. I did suggest we went to get some calpol on the way home, but DH didn't want to bother. Never mind - it will be him who is sent to tesco in the middle of the night if we need it! Next lot in 4 weeks then we can go swimming!!! (I realise we could go swimming now, but MIL says we shouldn't, as that used to be the recommendation when she was a MW and I can't be bothered to argue the point for the sake of 4 weeks!)

My Mam does too! She's still buys the boys school shoes but I buy their PE trainers and cheap shoes for playing out in. She used to be a Clarks fitter and is obsessed with buying properly fitted shoes.

Charlottes old shoes were a 5½ but she's gone up to a size 7  We got these ones and they came with a free Molly the cat and a book :D

  • The trouble I'm going to have is that I have childrens sized feet, so once she is a bigger I'm going to have to fight the urge to buy us matching shoes :rotfl: .

Mind you, I'm sure there will only be a small window of opportunity where she would be seen dead in the same shoes as me. After that I can be an embarrasing mum. I'm looking forward to that bit too ;),
