I was told tonight that if it is a joint account then you get £70k protection but I have been unable to confirm this.
Is anybody able to confirm this and the source please.

Any chance of a quick explaination0 -
Cheers guy's
I have sat on the fence with our savings in my own name thinking nah it's never going to happen and then the last 2 day's have me in a panic.
At least that cuts the amount of account in need in half, providing I can get them open before something nasty happens.

What does it mean if the bank is white? Is it that they are independently registered with the FSCS so you get the full £35K protection for that bank? Sorry if it's really obvious
