I know how frustrated you must feel. Your really just communicating with a robot on ebay and never a real person and all they want to do is rake money in. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Under the Data Protection Act you have a right to see all data held on you by a company. This should include the reason(s) why you were suspended.

Send a strongly worded letter to ebay's registered address demanding this information be sent to you (I think you also have to pay them a small admin fee). See here for more info:

could be very useful and if the fee is small enough i think i will pay it. It'll be cheaper than building up my ratings again from scratch

I think the fee is a maximum of £10 or something (the maximum is set by Parliament not the company in question).

Yes. It is in this leaflet:

Maximum £10, and it even inludes an example letter

One word of warning, you can't build up your feedback from scratch once suspended as if you are caught on ebay after suspension all associated accounts are banned for good. That's why it is so important to keep on at ebay until they resolve this for you.

Don't be tempted to use another account meanwhile either as that will result in a permanent ban.

Hope this sorts out Ok for you.
