Ebay have just suspended me!

I logged into ebay this morning as usual and checked on my auctions which are ending in the next 2 days or so. While there I took the opportunity to list another item i had for sale.
That was this morning but I just tried to login only 5 minutes ago and they have now suspended my account. I have been an ebay memeber since 2001 and haven't listed anything naughtly or against any rules. I had simply started to list more than i would normally send. (around 30 items for sale at the minute). Has anyone had any previous experience with having their Ebay account suspended? How long doe sit take them to get back to you?
I really need this as I am in serious debt as it is, and ebay was a small income i had.

Could it be a system glitch? I'd be surprised if they'd suspended you with no warning or explanation. I went from listing zero items to listing 500+ auctions last month with no problems (although I had to go through a security process with Paypal).
Check your fees balance - are you paid up on that?

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due to concerns we have for the safety and integrity of the eBay community.
Per Section 8 of the eBay User Agreement, we may immediately issue a warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend or terminate your membership and refuse to provide our services to you if we believe that your actions may cause financial loss or legal liability for you, our users or us. We may also take these actions if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us.
Due to the suspension of this account, please be advised you are prohibited from using eBay in any way including registering a new account.
Please note that any seller fees due to eBay will immediately become due and payable. eBay will charge any amounts you have not previously disputed to the billing method currently on file.

this is now the message they have sent me. It doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.0 -
That's really bizarre - have they given you a way to contact them to resolve it? It sounds to me like mistaken identity - is there another user ID similar to yours? Have you had any negative feedback from disgruntled people recently?

no, it's all been positve. My feedback percentage is 97% but that was because of a few negatives last year. Everything else is positive0
-
I don't know then - I guess you'll have to contact them and ask why.

Just wondered what type of item you are selling.
My bro recently had a problem selling a second-hand video because the pic contravened copyright.
How you are supposed to display the item, which has a pic on the front of it, without breaching copyright, beats me.
They are a bit hot on this, so it may be something that you would consider to be totally innocent - but they dont"Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
i was selling all sorts.
the most recent listing was that I bought 10 PSPs in bulk (all above board) and was listing them with a 1GB memory card included. The company I bought them from is an official Sony distributor and I have to sign an agreement about what I was allowed to say and use when i was selling them on. I even was told which disclaimer to put on my auctions. They had run for about 6 or 7 days and all had bids on them so i am gutted.0 -
It sounds like either a competitor has reported you for selling fakes/trying to scam buyers or some of your buyers have had concerns and reported them to eBay. Looks like you've been suspended permanently as there is no mention of any temporary suspension or return date.
There should be a link where you can e-mail eBay and ask them why you've been suspended, usually if you've been suspended you receive 2 e-mails; one stating the reason why which can be found in your 'eBay messages' folder and another official one from eBay stating whether you've been suspended temporarily or permanently.0
