How do I sell my house in six weeks?

I live in Leeds and I've been offered a job in Edinburgh. I can give six weeks notice and they will pay my first months rent.

I've got a three bed semi that's coincidentally been on the market for 3 weeks at £164,950 with one viewing in the first week.

What the hell do I do now?

    Drop the price.

If your mortgage is greater you have to save to be able to sell.

    Stick it in an auction.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Out of interest - Do you still have to pay all the fees even if it doesn't sell?

    Is it expensive?

You could always rent out the Leeds house, then rent a flat yourself in Edinburgh. Not sure if that's affordable without knowing your figures etc.
  • Stay in Leeds, its a crummy time to change jobs..

    DROP THE F***ING PRICE!!!!!!
Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.

Put the price UP! your house is quite clearly the best house in your area EVAR! Besides which house prices wont fall in your area anyway.
