Received email this morning claiming cheque (supposedly sent 5 days ago) was probably 'lost in the post' and the reason I never received their other emails was due to 'technical reasons'.....
Hmmmm.
Still waiting. So far, unimpressed.0 -

What irritates me about this company is that WE are their suppliers and it is our cds that allow them to profit. I have sent them well over £600 of cds (retail) for less than £60 return and they are now telling me the the cheque 'may be lost in the post' and I need to remind them of my address. Well, the bags got here okay and the address is clearly on their own order form so it all feels a bit dubious. Paying promptly would be a much better business strategy as it would encourage more people to send in their cds and, in turn, allow them to build up a reputable business. Instead, they seem very disorganised if not somewhat dishonest.0

Has anyone received payment from them, and how long after you sent the CDs off did you receive it?\\ Debt Free April 2008 //\\ Single Mummy to 1 boy - 4 years & 5 months old //\\ Last weeks spend: £139.39 - 2 NSDs //0

I received my bags a couple of days after listing but am holding off at the moment. Doesn't look good for payment so I don't think I'll bother.0

So far, I have received one cheque for one batch of CDs. It did take longer than it should have done though. I am about to send off a second lot.0

Thanks Flickering Ember. That is reassuring.0

I'm undecided on whether or not to do this. Some of my cd's are awesome and I'm only being offered 50pish for them, it breaks my heart. Wierdly, I've been offered £3 for a Kylie one though. They seem to want all my good cd's but none of my dodgy ones!
May investigate the Amazon route. I could do with freeing up the space though, it just breaks my heart to do this.0 -
I thought that for some of my cd's too. But to be honest they've sat at my mum's since I left home over 2 years ago and I've not listened to them or bothered to try and sell them so think this is the easiest way.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Yeh that was same with me too, theyve sat in a box in my room for years. I didnt really have the time or want the hassle to sell on eBay/Amazon what with buying jiffy bags and posting etc.. this was the easiest option for me. And obv the pay is a bit pants, but they were only sat in a box and havent been listened to in years!\\ Debt Free April 2008 //\\ Single Mummy to 1 boy - 4 years & 5 months old //\\ Last weeks spend: £139.39 - 2 NSDs //0
