    But mto said it was in the fridge, not the freezer?

    I think I'd be tempted to ditch it after 6 months in the fridge, although the sniff test would probably be performed first, and also a visual inspection for blue bits! :rotfl:

    I think I've got some which I bought cheap and chiled, and then froze, probably a couple of years old, next time I have a good clearout I'm either going to use it lose it! :rotfl:

    I have a George Forman grill and it needs a clean, hubbie says get a new one- had it 4-5 years. Would rather try and clean it first.

    Have been using the spatula it came with and removing bits when its warm but still got a layer of baked on stuff on, leaving black bits all over food.

    I have soda crystals, bicab, vinegar and a bottle of flash with bleach but thats it.

    Whoops! I totally misread the post. :o Please disregard my previous advice....It will almost certainly be mouldy, but even if it isn't I'd definitely throw it out after six months in the fridge.

  • They have a bit on the site where you click to exlude ones past bb date. the product only past it's best, not dangerous, past a bb date.

    The kids want a treat of fried chicken and chips for tea tonight. I have drumsticks and have never tried this before. I don't have any eggs in to dip them in. Can I do it without? What do I need to coat them in?

    And before you all jump on me......I know it's not a healthy meal, but we eat very healthily most of the time. This is just a very rare meal.

    Managed to get my recipe from the allrecipes.com website while the forum was down.
    Should be easy enough compared to what I was expecting. Toss in seasoned flour, fry. Simples!
