You're welcome
It was, as you'll have seen now, buried deep in the middle of a Grocery Challenge.
There's a tip that will help folks find recipes... in the future, that is...
Sneaky trick #49
If you are posting a recipe in the middle of a thread you can still give that post a title of its own.
Instead of using the quick reply thing - click on the Go Advanced button. It's not as scary as it looks, honest
You can now give your post a title, such as Sweet and Sour Chicken, and that will help the search facility find it.

... It was, as you'll have seen now, buried deep in the middle of a Grocery Challenge. ...
'ere you! recipes don't get buried in the Grocery Challenge - they all get gathered (by moi!) and posted on the front page of each challenge
I had a Sweet and Sour Chicken listed but had put the one you mentioned under Chicken - Sweet and ....... I've added it in under Sweet and Sour Chicken as well now
recent recipes are added into post 4 until I get a chance to sort the list out... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

:rotfl: So I've seen as I scoured pages worth of search results while looking for the "missing" post.
A "show titles" search is often a quicker/shorter route, but if there is no title there can be an awful lot of "possibles" in the list. That's why I offered the tip.
I'm really impressed by your collections btw. Darn good job, and very helpful.
(spot the title)

yes, I try to remember to add any threads that I find and I have linked to the grocery challenge recipe list too
I need to do some more indexing on the CCC but rl gets in the way
It's good to see your sigs about the place again... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Thanks.
I'm a bit busy finding my way around things at the moment - but the OS BG Team have got the place running like clockwork, so I'm able to ease back into things gently.
I mostly used to work on stickies and indexing anyway... so once I've found my feet... hmmm...
Anyway, to get back on topic, more or less; adding that tip into the GC opener post will help. After all, there's an ever increasing number of GC's and folks then have to try and remember which GC they saw something in.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. i just made a lovely pork shoulder roast in my slow cooker, but i forgot we'd been invited to mil for tea so it's going to be tomorrows tea, my problem is i love the gravy it's so yummy (think cause it has honey in it) would i be ok to make the gravy to tonight and pop it in the fridge? or even the stock in the fridge, we use gravy granuals if that makes a diferenceDEC GC £463.67/£450

I'd put the stock in the fridge overnight and make the gravy fresh tomorrow, it'll be fine
reheat the stock in the micro till its hot enough for the granules... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
