    Very quickie

i have two duck legs, if I put them in the SC on high right now, will they be cooked for 5.30 tonight?

    TIA:A
I read that first as Duck EGGS, which really WOULD be incinerated after 6 hours on high ... :rotfl:

Anyway, if I'd seen this I'd have agreed with zippy, but do tell us how they were, after how long, on what heat? And what else was in with them? I don't cook duck often, but the odd chicken leg can't be much different.

Funny enough I have two chicken legs and am sat here thinking - hmmm how long will they take to cook in the SC:rotfl:?! What will I cook them with? should i do a *dish* or just cook the chicken....

Jinks, you are to blame. You subliminally planted the seeds of bird legs for my SC:rotfl:

zips, they will take twenty minutes in a hot oven or under the grill so unless you want to make them into a casserole type thingy just zap them as it will probably be more economical. :)

A few weeks ago went to the butchers and bought some neck of lamb. he said he didnt have any fresh , so he went to the freezer and got some frozen out. My question is would the frozen lamb have weighed more than the fresh, if he would have had some? It seems to me that anything in the freezer weighs more than in the fridge. The Butcher did say though that it weighs the same. What do you think ?
