I've been working my way through the living room "Flylady" style and have come to the conclusion that I'm a hoarder who may need therapy :o :rotfl:

I need to work out why I feel the need to rip recipes, that I'll probably never make and other "useful" information out of magazines :o

Why do I need to keep everything I've ever been given and feel guilty getting rid of anything??

Maybe I should get someone to come and "de-junk" my house and stop me keeping things   until I saw how much they charge :eek::eek:
I brought the books on the art of de-cluttering, which I've read but can't seem to get into practise :o

Does anyone else feel the same?
What things do you keep that you really don't need to??

I ask myself if I could live without it. The answer is usually yes - though it doesn't stop me making new piles of things I must read/file/digest at some point (which never comes)

A couple of new bits of clothes in at the weekend, with some vouchers I'd been given, but one thing replaces something else so I'll move that to my charity shop pile.

Took something back to Boots I'd had a reaction to and swapped it for something I'll use straight away - money saving and clutter saving in one!

Other than that just usual recycling and stuff really, once we've decided our Easter plans I'll work out how much time I've got for decluttering then and make a plan

Like a previous poster I've not been decluttering at all, despite the house looking like a bombsite! I'm blaming it on being pg, mothers' day, anything other than the fact that I'm too tired to tackle it all! :D Anyhow, today was a new day & I've started in earnest - 10 wks pg now, so 1/4 of the way until new bean arrives so got to do something every day until then so house is done!

    IN:
    Food shopping

    OUT:
Some of craft stash (lack of space)
    Garden rubbish to tip

    PENDING:
Craft mags to sort & freecycle (tonight's job)

My out list should outweigh the in list by about 100:1 - let's see what the next couple of months bring! You're all very inspiring - must keep reading you all! :T
