Hi folks - I'd like to join in, please! Some of my ironing is permanently on the floor as the cupboards are full of carp!
We've got a few things on Ebay, at least 3 of them will sell, & more to go on later this week.
My dad died recently &, although he & mum aren't that badly organised, it's still taking her ages to go through his stuff. That & the story the other day of the lady who was killed by her hoarded stuff has galvanised me into action! :D
    So, today:
In: small bag shopping & new toaster
Out: dead toaster, rubbish into ordinary bin

    Plan for tomorrow:
    * Burn confidential rubbish (no shredder) - if it's not raining
    * Collect all washing to do be done into ONE place!
    * Start sorting through too-small baby clothes to give away/charity shop

Let you know how I get on - think my de-clutter will take months, if not the rest of the year! :rotfl:

    another good day here
    In - mirrors & heater

Out - more stuff in the charity bag
two bags into the bins and a bag of recycling.

Although there's not much gone out, the hallway is finished and looks fabulous, mirror and heater are up, and new mirror is in the bathroom.
I've also pretty much finished the living room, just needs the diy stuff removed and the hoover slinging around and it's done.

Hi, I'm new to this thread too! Can heartily agree with cheapskate - have had a hoarding problem for many years. Hubby now getting heartily sick of falling over things and health and safety would have a field day on the stairs to the kids bedroom.

I will try though and post occasionally.

    IN TODAY
    Groceries

    OUT TODAY
    Kitchen binbag (dustmen tomorrow)

    - Weekly shopping. I am particularly proud that last week we threw away nothing unused, for what must be the first time ever. Hope we can do the same this week.

DITHERING - The eBay listing which now has three watchers. Here's hoping...

OUT: (Well, in the hall, ready to leave)
    - Large bag of toiletries from the bathroom, mostly things we have tried and not liked, or things which make me scaly (psoriasis - grrrrr). I am thinking that they will go to MIL's friend for her daughter who is a trainee beautician, or else to the local refuge if they are happy to take them and can use them.
    - OH's latest collection of boxes for recycling.
    - Another bag of paper recycling (we always have paper recycling - I think there is somewhere in the house where it breeds like bunnies)

I haven't posted here for a while but last week we had :

    In :
    • Late Xmas pressies (a couple will go on ebay - duplicates of things I already have, but I'm keeping all the smellies ;) )
    • magazine holders (£1 shop - 6 for £2 - no more chaos on my desk/bookcase)
    • Numerous packets of stickers for DD - she currently has 4 sticker albums on the go  (Swaps are listed on ebay and she's not getting any more until she's reimbursed me through ebay sales or pays for them out of her pocket money:rotfl: )
    • Paper tablecloths (£1 shop 6 pack for crafting since I don't get newspapers and its not practical to use the dust sheets :rotfl: )
    • Avon order
    • Toiletries/minimal groceries
    • Another blooming "happy meal" style toy only this time it was from Burger King (ex takes DD out for lunch every Sunday and she loves the meals  )
    Out :
    • Stickers from ebay sales (40 individual ones I think may be more - more to leave today :D )
    • Clutter from the storage cupboard (sorted through all sorts in there, keepsakes, DD's next size up clothing & summer wardrobe, empty mobilephone boxes which I keep as they're worth more with the boxes, playstation stuff etc  Now nice and tidy and ordered!) Even more earmarked for sale on ebay ;)
    • Colour portable TV that was my nans - went with my dad to his office so they can now watch the football etc in colour :rotfl:
    • Shoerack, vacuum bags (x2) & wardrobe shoe organiser to my sister
    • My favourite pair of gloves as I lost one while out walking :doh:
    • Last years calenders
    • My sanity :rotfl::rotfl:
    • Timesheets x 3 for my placement (Xmas holidays and last week ;)) as they're worth £15 each :rotfl:
    More to follow this week
    • Ebay sales (1 book, 3 DVDs & 1 pack of stickers ready to go, another 4 just waiting on the sellers to get back to me :D )
Plus I have a load of stuff waiting to be listed on ebay....:o I will get this house decluttered before I finish my course on March 6th.... ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
