I like this in/out idea. I've been working hard on clutter moving but not so hard on getting rid of it. I got sick of asking people to move their junk so boxed everything from the LR, kitchen, utility, hall and dining room that didn't belong in there and threw the boxes in the conservatory (which we don't use over winter) I have since sorted through 4 boxes so that's going ok, will do this in/out thing however as when we moved I decluttered loads but it seems to be building up again because of the amount brought in. I'll not be able to keep up with the thread daily I don't think but will keep popping in with an in/out list
This week (week beginning 1st December will edit as it's added to)
Out
Freecycled - shower thing, hedgehog food
Tip - wood from an old unit
Cardboard - loads of from packing boxes
Another stack of OU books I found
Old bakeware past it's use by
Pile of empties from bathroom, bag full in fact, why can't he just bin it?
Plates with big cracks in them

I really need to declutter - so much stuff that I've hoarded, it feels like a safety blanket for me and I find it really hard to let things go but I've stopped buying things as I simply don't need anything else at all at the moment.
So..... today I will pick 5 items I don't need and put them on Freecycle........
Waiting for my ads to be accepted by the mod hopefully today the following will be
OUT
Silver shelving unit
Assorted boys clothes
Xmas decorations I don't want
Collection of beauty products I don't want
Brand new pair of ladies shoes
If nobody asks for them I'll drop them off at a charity shop on Saturday (don't like doing that though as they throw so much that's donated away, the one I used to volunteer in did and it's put be off donating now).
IN - nothingI won't buy it if I can make or borrow it instead
