Today's Plan.
1) Swap over the beds, wardrobes and bedside tables. (This is the last of the furniture swapping.
2) As the wardrobes need to be emptied for the move, triage the clothes before they go back into the wardrobes. Quck and dirty sort will do....but it will make it easier to do a final sort when I have more time.
Think that's enough, given that we have two sets of swimming lessons, Rainbows and Scouts to fit in today as well. Also one of the neighbours drains is looking a bit ominous so I may have to take time out to deal with that.
Update: I got everything done but the wardrobes which is not bad considering I had to dissasemble two humungous bookshelves, clean the walls and skirtings and hoover both rooms as well. I was absolutely knackered by 3pm so decided that as OH is home over the weekend then we can do it then, probably Sunday. The two bedrooms are looking pretty good though.....but the hall is a swamp of bags, piles and odd bits of furniture. I shall get them sorted out and the hall hoovered instead today. Two wardobes are neat tidy packages and can wait. Better to have OH around to sort his own clothes anyway.
In:
Groceries.
Out:
Two boxes of mixed recycling.
One large bag books.
Two big bags of general rubbish, one from the room swap.
Today's Plan.
Going out this morning to visit a friend and see her new kittens. NO I WILL NOT BE GETTING A KITTEN! We have two cats already and the second of these only came from the cat rescue three weeks ago (he's a real hairy hippy love bug) and two cats is enough! Then we are going to Ikea (Alert!! Danger Zone!!) for lunch, a wardrobe rail and some storage boxes. Then this afternoon I will clear of the detritis in the hall and consolidate my decluttering achievements so far.Val.0 -

LOL! IKEA should be banned for declutterers - they encourage you to hide all your stuff in nice boxes, rather than get rid of it!!

son returned from school trip with lots of dirty washing!
cuddly toy bought by ds1 on trip for dd
Out:
rubbish/ recycling from DS1's room (been taking advantage whilst he's been away)
Pending:
Over 100 items sorted/ labelled up to take to NCT sale tonight. I'll get some back, I know, but I've also red crossed some items which I don't want back if they're not sold. Big kids were promised the money for any toys they sell, so a clearout was achieved that way. (Not all toys were put for selling though - only ones which I don't like/ aren't suitable for DS2) My car boot is full :T

OH says  he will take the cardboard boxes to the tip. Perhaps he was embarrassed that he still had empty boxes in the garage from items bought over 15 years ago "just in case they have to go back under warranty!!!";);)0
