Update for today and yesterday. Today didn't do anything as it was raining and if DH isn't here getting wet then I don't see why I should (shame on me!).
In: 1 egg borrowed from next door for tea. Few eggs MiL brought with her. 2 bags firewood. Admag. 3 yoghurts. 1 Muller rice. 2 pints milk. Milk bill from milkman. Black sack of clothes for DD from someone at BiL's work.
Out: 1 egg! 3 yoghurts. 1 Muller rice. Admag (used to light) 1 bag firewood. 1 milk bottle. Lots of leftovers from fridge. Made curry yesterday and beef stew with yorkshire pudding tonight. Large pile of shelf storage units that make my understairs cupboard lethal. 1 carrier bag of stuff weeded out of the cupboards as pap. 2 (so far) cans lager which are cluttering up my fridge.
Essexgal, I didn't know what a tala measure was so I had to google it. They had one of these when we went on holiday in our 2nd cottage (France). I was so tempted for it to fall into my suitcase and accidently come home with me! DH thought I had lost the plot completely though!
I hope everyone else is doing better than I am. My only consolation is that I'm not food shopping ATM just trying to use up the stocks I have getting in the way. Then I can clean the cupboards.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Nothing yet, just wait unitl later - I have big plans!!£23366/ £39206.92 DFD Nov 20160 -
Todays plans:
1) Start moving DD's stuff through to our room, via a sorting area in the hall which will cream off unwanted items for Ebay/charity shops/dustbin.
2)Unpack books.
3) Go to dump/charity shops.
4) Craft cupboard that I did not clear out yesterday.
Update:
Well, I got 1, 2 and 3 done. Have decided 4 can wait till next week and I'll do the crafts as a one-er. Must say DD's soon to be new room is looking rather good, so much so that she and I have decided two things, firstly that the rather elderly carpet will do fine for another year or two, given that she does a lot of painting and glueing crafts, and secondly that she really rather likes the walls the buttery cream colour they are so I'm only going to have to give them one refresher coat when it comes to painting time, rather than two coats of the pink she thought she wanted. So that's saved me a couple of hundred pounds for a carpet plus I can get away with a lot less paint and painting. Reduce, reuse, recycle, yeah!!!!
We managed to sort out yet more stuff for the out pile as well.
Out:
One black bag of general rubbish.
One box of videos and cassette tapes for the charity shop.
One small bag of books.
In:
One bag of groceries and 12 toilet rolls.
Today's Plan.
1) Swap over the beds, wardrobes and bedside tables. (This is the last of the furniture swapping.
2) As the wardrobes need to be emptied for the move, triage the clothes before they go back into the wardrobes. Quck and dirty sort will do....but it will make it easier to do a final sort when I have more time.
Think that's enough, given that we have two sets of swimming lessons, Rainbows and Scouts to fit in today as well. Also one of the neighbours drains is looking a bit ominous so I may have to take time out to deal with that. DD's birthday is on Saturday though so her room HAS to be ready for that, which gives me a bit of motivation to complete most of the move today.
Must say the kids are being stars about all this...DD has actually decided to polish all the furniture and big DS is proving to be a great removals man. And they really like the dejunking in some ways. DS wants me to help him do his room soon.:rolleyes:Val.0
