  • OUT

The bed has finally gone, yay!

Have chucked the contents of our "spare sock basket". Loads of the socks' partners have never been seen for months, loads of the socks are threadbare anyway - why were we keeping them? - and having the basket means that everyone just puts all clean socks in there instead of pairing them up. Means I have a spare wicker basket now

On a roll now...what else can I get rid of?

    In: nothing

Out: hundreds of quid worth of clothes and shoes, some of them never worn (the shame!), several humongous bags of yarn stash and craft bits and pieces "saved for a future project"...

    Next in line: books...
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • Been on quite a declutter this afternooon...

    OUT

Carrier bag of rubbish from the drawers in my bedside table that haven't been opened for almost two years (Have had bedside cot beside them for all that time, blocking access). Among the precious stuff I was saving was instructions for products I no longer own, empty lip balms, empty medicine packets, dried up nail varnishes and copious amounts of dust. I now have two empty drawers and one with a handful of photos and notes from DD.

Several pairs of shabby knickers and more odd socks from my now very tidy underwear drawer.

About ten pairs of too small baby socks to my sister for her baby.

    A broken radio alarm clock

Loads of Christmas and birthday cards that somehow have no envelopes into the bag for school for the writing area

Sorted the rest of birthday cards and wrapping paper so that they fit into two boxes instead of three and got rid of the third box

Chucked several baby bottle tops - not sure why I have them as I don't have any bottles(?)
