OUT a large item collected by a freecycler. a bag of clothes to the charity shop.

Welome Miss Wouldbetidy. I find if i'm stuck abut where to start I begin by getting a carrier bag or bin bag and ,staring in the corner of the room i am in, simply throwing stuff in to throw away. Can be a toffee paper or an old cardigan, ANYTHING is better than nothing. Then , once i have collected 30 items I take the bag out to the bin and PUT IT IN THE DUSTBIN. There, stuff gone, out of the house, right away . Then taker a 10 mi n break, drink a glass of water. Start and do something ,eg another 30 items for the dustbin, or take a cardboard box or something and put into it 30 give away items. Take straight to the car and put in the car to drop off at the charity shop. Keep going like this for an hour or 2 then STOP. very important to stop and go and do something else like a walk or watch telly for half an hour otherwise its over facing and sickening. then, congratulate yourself on what you have achieved and set aside 3 or 4 days a week to decluttering, no more than 2 or 3 hours a day. in no time at all it will look very different. Also my lightbulb moment was when I realised if it dodnt come IN the house it didnt ever need to go OUT the house.
Its very exciting and good fun, enjoy , if in doubt ,chuck it out is my motto.

No interest in the polystyrene...the question is do I bin it (bin day tomorrow) or store it under the stairs until next week:confused:

The girl who was looking for a fridgefreezer of freecycle is sending her hubby tomorrow night for mine :D:j I've got it defrosting as I type and I'm going to give it a good wash down inside and out before they collect it. :D:j:j So tomorrow although I'll have a few bits coming in the house, I'll also have something large leaving :T
