  • Well had a result getting rid of some old radiators I had ripped out when upgrading the heating and sold them to the scrap merchant for £28.50! Better than nothing! :D
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • That site looks interesting Callisto, will have a look around it later.

Have spent quite a bit of time thinking (!) about decluttering this week, DD unfortunately can be quite demanding and her efforts to 'help' make the job last so much longer. Have done a bit around the garden, tidying up and so forth. Will be looking at my tender plants and planning their spot in the greenhouse this year as last winter I was too late moving some of them and its freeeeezzzziiiinnnnggggg cold in the mornings (I'm in the south-east as well).

My boys are on a decluttering mission of their own in their bedroom. They want me to do a bootsale but I doubt I'll get round to one this year. I may try Ebay again and see if sales have picked up in the run up to Christmas.

    IN:
Few bargain bits for Christmas pressies
    'New' car for DH
Few foraged bits for the freezer

    OUT:
    Recycling
    Usual bin rubbish
Couple of old pjs where elastic has perished
All our money (on the car)
    DH's old car
Plant (freecycled but took several days for freecycler to get in touch - grr)

Hope theres more next week x

Edit - what type of books do you want flipper - you're not far from me!!

  • Hi gers

Have you thought about donating your stuff to a homeless shelter or similar organisations that help resettle homeless people?

There is also Women's Refuge's that will accept donations, normally they will come to collect from you for obvious safety reasons.

Out: Big, heavy, lethal old lamp and a crate of rubbish, using the box I used at Lidl earlier and a shower gel bottle and cleanser bottle as I finished both today.

In: A bit more shopping than expected from Lidl earlier but then again, I've half filled another rubbish bag so it's ok...
