I'd love to share an allotment with you - you'd do all the work before I got there!

After a horrid nights work (why do shorter shifts feels sooooo much worse then longer ones?) this made me giggle:rotfl: . Allotment sharing could be really good fun actually so I'll look into that as I am a complete novice when it comes to gardening (and fruit and veg actually)

Back to the subject of the Dehydrator - I bought one a few months ago and when it arrived I thought what do I do now:eek:

I have a BM that I never use - it's just a waste of time for me, a bag of flour makes 2 loaves, a batch of rolls and either pizza bases or chelsea buns - I'd like to see a BM that could manage that all at the same time:rotfl:

Her dehydrator also makes nummy mango.....and eventually I'm sure it can be persuaded to do some pinks:D (I love the chewy dried apple stage). And her chelsea buns are also nummy, I may have consumed a few of these over time.

(JayJay 14 is my mummy, she thinks I'm crazy too though, so its okay:j )

As you well know, its not so much that I'm keen on gardening, more that I want to do something hobby-esque as apparently they can be helpful in the relaxation process, plus I think maybe if I grow my own I might be more likely to eat them, I do have five a day issues...maybe I should create a mini 'me' challenge to try and conciously(sp) eat five fruit and veggis of all different colours...hmm, get the feeling this maybe called life:rolleyes: .

Just finished making a batch of chilli out of some bolagnaise I had lying around, added chilli powder to half the batch and chilli beans with extra chilli powder to the other, I don't like kidney beans, so I usually have to pick them out but this way I can make my own to take to work and leave his half for when he gets in, this'll be served with tortilla chips and sour cream, yummy! Also chopped up abunch of onions for the freezer which I got on whoops-y so my eyes are killing me. Next job is to go through freezer and cupboards (again) and see what still needs using up, trying to get through it all and am actually seeing some progress so next weekend will hopefully be defrosting the freezer and cleaning the fridge, if I manage this whole eating stuff lark.

:j Hope everyone else has fun days planned!!!!!:j
