yeah hopefully things will get better soon, i just realised though that it must have been faster last night when i downloaded avast. thanks for the help. i might take out that bell wire tommorow aswell0

I'm wondering if it's because Norton is updating the antivirus software in the background and since it's newly installed there will be tonnes to update and is thus taking forever to download the other program.0

no better today :mad: i uninstalled norton first thing, i think at least. i went to control panel and then uninstal programs.0

fixed it!! was a problem with a port being closed. On BitTorrent since ive forwarded the port i'm getting an average of 120kb/s download sometimes getting up to 200kb/s. Is that fast or can i still get it faster?0
