In the meantime, there was a wanted on freecycle for bits for a raffle for a Macmillan function next week. I emailed her a picture of the cake I did for the comp and offered to make one. She came back really excited with a huge yes please! Her mum is an events organiser so she has local press attending and has asked me to give her some business cards

That sounds great polkadot!

Afternoon all.

I've had a lovely morning out catching up with my friend. I did get the washing on the line before I went and put the kids bedding in to wash - I'll swop it all over in a minute.

I need to find my list and see what else I was hoping to achieve today. Some of it will now be carry overs to next week but that's ok.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

When I phoned DF to tell him he laughed at me, saying he read my stars on the way to work and it said I should concentrate on a creative effort that would arise around the 20th of this month as it could have a huge impact on my financial situation in the future:rotfl:
Right, where is my list?

That is fabulous... make sure there are LOADS of business cards available!! and have one attached to the board the cake is on.. it all helps!!

Zed what's a "profile" book?

A "profile" book, is a scrapbook of photo's, paintings, drawing, writing and such like that DD has done that she has enjoyed / been proud of / shows her development.

She had one from her playgroup and her nursery, it kept us up to date with what she was doing there and serves as a good momento, now that she's gone to school, I think we (as parents) ought to create a new one for her and us to fill in.

Right, now HHC was a little scuppered in the middle when my mate called (7mins 7secs and then I had to fly lol)

So, what did I actually achieve:

Got dressed (yes, I know, I know)
Dried hair
Made 2 beds
Sorted ironing and non-ironing out into separate piles
Got in another load of washing off the line and sorted that too.
Dusted some of main bedroom whilst chatting to mate, so can't actually remember what it was I was swiping, LOL.

Right, back to work for me in 10 mins, just after I've found directions for party!
