    I HAVE GOT HOT WATER!

Oh thats great Valli - we are so bad at taking things for granted aren't we? Enjoy your baths - good job you had the right insurance cover for your system.

  • Toots How do you manage your apnoea when you're in hosp? Do you take your CPAP machine in with you?

If my DH (his status has been elevated from OH to DH as he's in my good books!! :rotfl: ) went into hosp he'd have to take his machine, cos he'd deafen everyone else in there!!!   They'd have to cope with the cpap noise .... which I really like incidentally, I can't settle so well until it's switched on! ;)
Oh yes Sarah that has to go too - its not so much that I snore but my chest muscles dont have the strength to work when I lie down so I stop breathing!! Yes I am getting used to the noise (sometimes!!) and it helps drown out the ward noises a bit too!

    toots xx

AnW's mum - huge hugs hun and hugs for your friend too.

Kaat - pm me your address - I should have some WW stuff I can send you.

Polkadot - put your cakes on freecycle - are you mad? They're way too good to be given away!

Valli - are you off for a long soak in the bath?

Soappie - I'm assuming your drains are clear now so I prescribe a long soak in the bath with a good book and a G&T!

Toots - tell the hospital you need your laptop there with you as it will aid your recovery if you can keep in touch with us all! You'll be back home Tuesday night or Wednesday?

Sorry can't remember anything else so hugs to all.

We've just decorated some little cakes for DS to take into school tomorrow. Mind you we did cheat as I was a bit pushed for time as the kids wanted to help so I bought cakes from Asda (46p for 12) and then we've put chocolate and sprinkles on them.

Plan for the rest of the night is:

Finish wrapping DS's presents and write in his card.

    Evening

posting replies now then update in a min

Dusty – once I’m asleep that’s it no waking up for me for ANYTHING J

Deniseflower – might be worth getting checked again, unless they’ve found and treated the cause of it, it could be ongoing

Johanne – what a compliment on the soup well done. My lad gets complaints from his school mates if they don’t get my cakes too. Think you need to put baby reins on your QVC card !

Zed42 – glad your DD enjoying school

Boddy – good luck for tonight

Polkadot – how old is your little one as some times they can have night terrors instead of nightmares (2 – 5 usually) If they wake up after a nightmare they can tell you about it, but a night terror they will scream and thrash about and are often totally incoherent, they are in the same sort of state as sleepwalking and are not aware that you are there and in the morning wont remember it at all. They are distressing for a parent as you want to help them and calm them down but cant.

Hugs to pigpen and embb and hope you both get rid of those bugs quickly

Sexymouse your meal plan sounds delicious – suppose I should start mine for next week (and even finish this weeks one!) When cake making I whisk my eggs up separately first so they are really fluffly which adds more air into the mixture so might be worth a try

AnW’s mum – massive hugs for your friend, hope your DH loves the flowers and gives you the “hug” you need. If not have one from me .

Michelle – hope your boys settle and you get some rest today/tonight

Tia – hope you get the sofa situation sorted out soon

Polkadot _ I’d stick the darn bag in a bin and have great delight in telling the childish so and so what I’d done

Valli – hooray for hot water

Toots – hope all goes well in hospital

If I have missed anyone - apologies
