You know what they say Boss! If you want something doing...ask a busy person (usually a woman of course!)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

pigpen,,,,I was just wondering ,,,do we have to do this every week,, i mean if we just do it once (the whole week )does it not last longer than a week ,,it seems to be neverending,, doesnt it
It IS never ending.. A week between toilet cleanings is pretty rancid in here it gets done every other day in reality.. the whole idea of the lists is that the tasks take less and less time each week leaving you with more and more time to do what you want to do.. if that is more cleaning or decluttering or sorting that is up to you but for most of us, especially those with children (esp. boys!) the bathroom is pretty grotty after a week. ditto the rest of the house!!.. adapt the list for your needs and alter it for your household.. the list are just a guideline for those of us who are too disorganised to do things without prompting!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

On Wednesday my routine got thrown out cos I went fruit picking with my mil:D, went I got back I started doing our bedroom. Wasn't worried about time cos kids at asc in preparation for college starting this week, and the bed looked so tempted so got in and fell asleep.:o and I have only just gone back to it today and finished off. As penance though I also did the kids rooms.:A
As I have less time on a Thursday, due to me taking my grandmother shopping, I will do the bathrooms tomorrow and catch up with any mising area on Friday so I am back on track.0 -

Believe me.. I KNOW how it feels.. we have lived in half a house for the last 3.5 years!!! Wehave JUST regained our middle room downstairs and it has 'lodgers' in it now lol... Only until Monday and I don't mind really.
We have just about decorated all the downstairs though the hallway and front room need freshening up now.. and the kitchen was never fully finished because we are still arguing over the splash backs.. he wants tiles and I want steel... argue argue argue lol..
The upstairs.. we have decorated the bathroom, the toilet, the boys room (twice) and DD1's room.. which means we have 3 rooms as yet untouched!!!!!!!!!! Ther eis constant building work going on.. constant hammering and crashing and dust and soot and plaster and dirt... but when it is all done it will be wonderful and until then I just do my best and try to declutter as much as possible!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Just popped in to wish you loads of luck tootifrutti - I'm going to miss you! Look after yourself.
kaat_lady - I feel for you! Most of my house looks fairly okay to the casual glance, but there isn't one single room that doesn't have a half finished job...and that now includes all the window frames. OH took a week off work, but because he lacks motivation (and I was working so not around to 'project manage' - ie nag) only half the frmaes have actually had the beading replaced, and none of them have been stained. I really hope that it gets done befor the weather gets too bad. That's why I spend such a lot of time in the garden and on the allotment which is exclusively my terrain! Can you find one little corner to get finished - maybe the bedroom, or failing that, buy yourself a shed!
Hope all the poorly ones are feeling better tomorrow.
I'll catch up on Friday as I'm at school tomorrow. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Hiya
No flying but studying nearly finished. There's going to be an addition to the muddy family....we've decide we're going to adopt another rescue dog. Don't know what, where, how, who but we've all decided there's room for another one...probably an older one that no one wants coz we're daft. I'll keep you all informed! xx0 -

A lot of us are finding a new routine this week with going back to work, starting new jobs and starting college/uni... you are not alone in your flapping about and getting nowhere very fast!!
Give your gran a hug from me.. They are never here long enough.
I have loads to catch up on.. but stuff it.. it'll be there tomorrow and I don't go anywhere other than to have my nails painted on Friday so all is well.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Have only done a few bits since I got in - washing up, made packed lunch and wiped kitchen surfaces. Am ignoring the front room as it seems to be messing itself up!!!
