I'm glad I did that...leaving the christmas card list alone till Pigpen tells me otherwise. But I started the shopping list and in addition to my usual traditional gifts I had another "noel" idea...Im going to make some edible gift tags:j

polkadot - what a prize cow(thats an insult to the cows) she is!!! I am glad you are both able to laugh about it - yes be strong and dont let her see that it is bothering you (until she is out of sight) - get rid you are far too good a person for the likes of her.


My still-to-do list now looks like this

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall
Vacuum through the living room, hall
Wipe and water plants
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
Tuesday Trauma - Kitchen
Clean the fridge..
Wipe kitchen table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in eating area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Clean out your mankiest kitchen cupboard..
PLUS

5 bits on ebay
iron 5 bits


Wednesday wobbles- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
clean blind
Scrub down walls in bathroom..
Empty and clean out all the bins!
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Extra mission: Take your pick!

1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms

Ok my HHc at 2.00 went slighty pear shaped as first of all my elderly friend phones and then the hospital ....... yes you will have peace for 6 days - I am going in tomorrow for my treatment.
So despite my attempts to be organised in advance i have still been flying around like a headless chicken going nowhere fast!!!!

had to go to town with last of the ebay stuff and get couple of bits I needed to take with me.

Off to have the leftovers from the fridge - one more thing done and then finish packing my case.
I will return....... later!!!

Grr had a word doc open full of comments (honestly!) and got a runtime error and it helpfully closed so I donot remember what I had to say and to whom...

The main person to send hugs to is AnWsMum sorry for your friend but as has been said - a merciful release - lovely that the family had a chance to say goodbye and not watch her struggle...

I think you would know if you needed one. QMU is a 'cashless' campus, so everything is done on your matric card. Its a matric/ID/payment card in one. You use it to get into the library, pay for lunch, print essays etc. Its great!!!! I thought maybe all the unis did that now. DD has a smart card to pay for her lunch...wasnt sure if it was used in Edinburgh.

I cant believe there is such a big wide world out there. Its such a culture shock having worked in the public sector for the last 10 years lol. I'm loving it

Hope all those who have started Uni and college are enjoying it and finding their feet.
