  • G&B hope you get it sorted. Haven't really caught up today....with the thread or the hous8&*^K.

All that has been done today is move the furniture in the living room to see if it works any better. Bet that I have moved it all back again by Wednesday.

Going out on Tiuesday AND Thursday.

Need to sort out a Mr T shop at some point and also find the list for today.

  • Just posting my list today, haven't done much flying. DS1 really enjoyed his settling in day at nursery today. He was crying when it was home time, he didn't want to come home. The nursery teacher allowed him to take the "Choo-Choo train" he was playing with! Reminded me of my first day at nursery when I put on a fairy costume and didn't want to take it home with me, so the teacher said I could take it home! Like mother, Like son!

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
[STRIKE]Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs[/STRIKE]
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/STRIKE]
Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
[STRIKE] Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure![/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Wipe and water plants
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it.. Still have the hotspot piles from last week to work through!
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself

Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    1. Have a bit of a tidy in the cupboard under the stairs.
    My Extras:
    1. Ring chest clinic, to confirm BCG appt. for DS2 Rang at 4.30pm, answering machine, will try again tomorrow morning
    2. Find blutac to put up wall planner
    3. Fill in wall planner
    4. Fill in the second part of nursery forms with DS1, as requires him to draw a picture
    5. Tidy spare room
    6. Trip to the rubbish tip
    7. Find out how much it costs to repair a Dyson vacuum cleaner, if it's worthwhile keep it as a spare
    8. Remind mum to alter my dress for bros wedding, so I can shop for accessories.
    9. Attack the mountain of hotspot piles in our bedroom
    10. Sort through DS2's clothes and charity items that he has grown out of
    11. Take charity items to charity shop
    12. Put ebay items on ebay
    13. [STRIKE]Plan menu for the week [/STRIKE]
    14. [STRIKE] Do a dry run to nursery and back to see how long it actually takes me there and back[/STRIKE] 50 mins their and back X 2 would be about 2 hours and he's only their for 2 and a half! So will probably use the car and not think about the carbon footprint! It's a 20 minute round trip in the car.
I'll try and catch up later, I hope everybody has had a good day - hugs to anybody who needs them. XxX

    :hello: all

Just about to start on my list I think. Unless I wait until the kids have gone to bed. DH is on a night out tonight so he won't be home but I've been up since 4.50 so I think an early night is in order!

DS wet his bed last night - of course I hadn't got round to putting his new mattress protector on so it all soaked through to his mattress.

DD knocked some peas onto the LR floor at teatime and she has now trod on them. She was told to pick them up at the time and I hadn't realised that she hadn't done it!

First job I think is to get bicarb off DS's mattress!

Anyone up for a HHC 6-6.30?

  • All sorted thank goodness, what a PITA though. Ebay live help was great, very efficient. Just sitting down to my dinner a little later than planned though.
