Just had dinner, overboiled the roasties, but I like them like that as they were all mushy and crispy numnumnum, going to sort out the list now and see how I get on... May do some flying tonight, but probably leave till tomorrow...:D

Thanks Toots and no it's not a bad break. He has broken his other arm twice in the past and once was a double break which needed an op to reset so this is much better if you see what I mean. Trouble is it is his right arm this time. He's gutted, it was only the second match of the football season, last time though he did it first match of the season! He isn't in too much pain, will dose him up again before bed.

Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it. Just emptied our recycling bin and brought the big recycling bin back to it's place outside. Have sat OH in front of the TV and asked him fantasy-37.gifto sort through all the piles of paper that he's been dumping there and he's doing it without complaining for a change (making note to make cake more often for him). respect-applause-002.gif
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    1. [STRIKE]Make Nigel Slater’s coffee and walnut cake[/STRIKE] semi-disaster, but tasted good.
    2. Change the sheets in the bedroom and put dirty linen in the wash
I'll just go and put the oven on and put the dinner in it, then I'll change the sheets on the bed. Will have to have a shower-121.gif later and wash my hair so that I'm nice and clean for the sheets. Also need to pack my lunchbox ready for tomorrow just in case I get a call from the agency in the morning.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

That's not daft hun it's lovely. I wish I had been able to spend more time with my Dad, cherish every minute of it.

Thanks dusty...it was really nice to go out with him and we both said we should do it more often. I think that's part the reason he wants to get me the cinema season ticket so we can go together whenever there's something he wants to see. My mum picked the children up from school, bless her, as we didn't get back until 345. I felt like a real grown up!! :rotfl:

    Evening everyone.

Just had a quick whizz through the thread as I had to catch up from last night.

I was ill last night so went to bed.

Plans went haywire this morning and no flying done.

DD called to say she was on her way and wanted me to go shopping with her. So off we went and when we got back it was time to get ready for my meeting and greeting.

Then the builder rang and came ten minutes later. Pleased about that as my chimney will get sorted.

Have tidied around tonight so will get cracking tomorrow.

My DB rang tonight to say he is coming down next week. He lives in Aberdeen.

AnWsMum Big hugs for your friend and her mum.

greenbee and poohbear59 Enjoy your holidays.

SaraShattered Well done your DD2 on her medals.

Soappie Glad your drains got sorted and hope you enjoyed your bath-021.gif

Valli Really hope you get your boiler sorted tomorrow.

g&b Glad your hot water came back on.

embb Happy Birthday to your DD1.

Mudbath Hope you had a lovely time with your dad

Dusty Ooooh poor DS. Hope its not too painful for him.

Had a blissfully long soak in the bath. Valli - sorry to hear you've still not got any hot water.

Dusty - healing vibes for your son's arm.

Right off to forage for some food.
