Thanks Toots! I'll probably continue to need nagging plenty! Feel sluggish and tongue-out-blowing-lazy-raspberry-ish!
However, I've

So, not bad, really, given how carp I feel.
DD3 IS going to choir after school today. But, I haven't established how much support she'll need, and if the school should support her while at after school activities??? (she has a TA to support her during school time)
~~~~thinks thinks thinks~~~~~~
Anyway, I said I'd stay with her today, DD2 already goes to choir, but I'm not prepared for her to feel responsible for her little sister. The music teacher did look rather too relieved last week when DD3 wouldn't stay at choir.... hhhhmmmmm.... not sure what the legal position is there.... any ideas anyone???MMSSB Club Founder Member
Dustykitten wrote: »Yes toots that's exactly what I am going to try to do! I have an old cardboard one and I can get loads from the scrap store. I love the fabric covered ones but they are so expensive. I have off cuts of curtain fabric in the loft so I intend to get out the PVA and have a go - will try it out first before I use my favourite fabric - I'll let you know how I get on.
All cleaning done and feel very smug now as I have a cuppa and a couple of shortbread fingers.
I've realised three flying things I am going to share with you all.
1. I fly best the week after AF has visited so need to plan and make the most of this.
2. As we all know once you start to clear the junk the flying is easier and more successful.
3. Now I have a new found passion - my family tree - I have an urge to get all the outstanding jobs done. I know lots of the jobs I have not been doing as in the back of my head has been a nag saying and what are you going to do with yourself once all the jobs on your list are done? Well now I can answer the nag and finish the jobs.
Thanks dusty that would be great - i cant recall having seen any - any ideas where I might see one so I can get some ideas too?
Re No.3 - yes i agree - having a project to make time for is brilliant - I want to knit, read and start scrapbooking and maybe make cards but i have so many outstanding jobs ......!!!!! but I am detemined to get there!
hi ladies.
not having a bad day here. it has actually been sunny and warm enough to be outside in a short sleeve top so i have tried to make the most of it, and got a few bits done.- kids up and dressed/washed and fed breakie and lunch
- played with play dough with ds1, then picked it all up again before it trod in the carpet
- WM - 2 loads of 6-9 month clothes for DS2 - so that is 2/6 boxes moved from on the landing
- nearly all pegged on the line until i ran out of pegs, so lets see if that lot will dry
- walked to post office (1 mile each way) to post 3 ebay parcels, and although i misjudged posting on one, i am still slightly in front
- posted back DVD rental
- posted a cheque for £100 into each of the boys CTF's. I am making the most of the dip in the FTSE 100 to buy more shares while it is bad for everyone else - shouldn't really as dosh is tight, but what the hell - i'll balance it somehow.
- stopped at the park and let DS1 burn some energy off while DS2 napped in the buggy
- sent emails to ebay people
- wrapped another 2 parcels to post tomorrow
- organised renewal of magazine subscriptions for the next year as xmas pressies for MIL and FIL. So that is another thing sorted
- washed breakie and lunch dishes
- found a home for my new train cake baking tin - DS1 had some of the cake for lunch and he enjoyed it, so i will definitely make it for his birthday.
- got both boys to nap at the same time :j :beer: so having a rest and catch up here as i only had about 5 hours kip last night
Not up on this - is it a school choir or private - if it was a school one then i would have thought they still had responsibility for her ??? even a private teacher too as you are leaving your DD in her 'care' - i guess what i am trying to say is that ''is there laid down reqirement for you to be in attendance" - I'm babbling
Hi,
We have had hardly any internet connection now for the last two weeks so while I have the chance I thought I should do a quick post.
My house is sparkling as a result of me keeping previous weeks printed out lists and spending no time browsing.
We are off on holiday tonight and are leaving DSs home alone. I have printed out some of pigpen's lists so that they can (hopefully) keep the place clean and tidy. DH has gone to deliver DS1 to uni, and is coming home expecting me to be packed and ready to go.
I will join in again when I am back from sunny Scotland.
If the internet stays on I will sit and read all your posts and try to catch up with all the news.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
