We all seem to have been busier flying this week end than we were during the week? Did we do all the gabbing there was to be gabbed or are we all nervous of the shiny hats:p I know, Im guilty too...I haven't been very talkative have I?
I just can't get over how much I've got done with DF away. I had said since he had two weekends at work I would prefer if he didn't go to see ex/bestman (since he will be here for two weeks over christmas), but now I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't just let him go:o
The friend I spoke to yesterday has just moved into a house with her boyfriend and she was telling me they've been painting and such and she's trying to find a routine. So I sent her the link-I hope she does pop in.
Right... I think I'll take DS for a well deserved shower. My legs are SOOOOO sore after the scrubbing.

OMG how awful, that just made me shiver, glad to see you posted that he is recovering. It's the first I have heard of it but then I have not had time to watch/read any news, how did it happen?
Apparently he saw a fracas in a shop doorway in a nearby town, went over, got out and showed his warrant card at which point the lad who causing the aggro turned on him and pulled a knife. I'd heard nothing but it happened Thursday afternoon and therefore too late for the local paper.

    Made the dailies! Here's one!
He's a life and soul of the party bloke - I've seen him do the Elvis! He was married to a former schoolfriend of mine and has a newborn grand child. He's now out of hospital!

Thanks will look a bit later. Mouse about to pack up here just now, fresh batteries cooking as I type!

We are supposed to be taking pressies for BIL (his bday today) but they are still not back yet. Soon it will be too late as I need to get dinner for A & W and get them organised and ready for bed.

Gawd, I'm on the edge of my seat here. There's an ebay item I'm after. There are no bids on the item at the moment. It's a bit of a specialist subject and a high starting price. (But I WANT it!). The auction ends in about 5 minutes. I ain't placed my bid yet but will do v. soon. I'm trying to calculate the best possible max bid just in case a sniper comes along.

    Don't you just hate snipers?

OK - will place my bid now...

If you can't beat them.. join them!!

I put in my bids with about 40 seconds to go.. always!.. that way I do not go above my highest bid because I don't get chance to do a second attempt.. AND.. if is already above what I am willing to pay I don't need to bid at all..

1 hour and 21 minutes on the book I am off to snipe...
