Morning lovelies!
Shopping day today :j I've got one of my 'shopping heads' on so want to go everywhere (mainly Dunelm Mill) but will probs stick with down town lol anyway finances are dictating this week so best I stick with my local shops (there's not many open) BUT I may succumb to the pull of Home Bargains in Jarrow
Got all of the downstairs to hoover this morning - honestly I don't know where all the 'bits' come from! Also need to load the DW with a few bits, give the benches the once over and dry another load of washing, it's not looking too promising out there so perhaps the TD again.
Watched Strictly Come Dancing last night and I have to say I was a bit boredI usually love it...maybe it will get better. I also finished my book the other day - Roberta Taylor - Too Many Mothers (her off the bill) and I couldn't put it down, I'd highly recommend it, so I'm on the look out for another one....I may have a quick squizz in the charity shop and see what they've got. Oooooh and I bought something on Ebay last night, first time ever! I won the auction, I was buzzing for an hour
Glad you found your Docs Julie bummer about the CC bill though.
ETA: I forgot to say. Chicken is back in the bin because durr brain here had the dates totally messed up, I was convinced it was the 19th yesterday and not the 20th so the chicken was right and I was wrong. I'd been working all week with the wrong dates in my head, I put it down to being poorly0 -

- Meet DD around 3.39 from the station and no doubt hand around until Ex's train arrives about 4.10

- Bath DD
- Stuff out for tomorrow
- Update finances
- Bed by 9.30pm-10pm
- anything else that comes up...

Morning All. Sun shining here yeah...windows look filithy boo:D .
Been onto the bank again this morning after 3rd dodgy amount has come out of my account. I cancelled my debit card earlier in the week, so hopefully thats the last one now. I would love to know where the shisters got my details from, but I suppose I'll never find out.
The last amount they took out was a fee for a site that allows people to search electoral roll details.
I am a bit worried that they may have been searching out more details about me in order to take out finance in my name or something. So I have requested a credit report just to be sure. Mind you, my credit reating is probaly so carp, that they couldn't get anything if they wanted to!!!Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
Morning all
Full of cold here and tired as I kept waking up to blow my nose and OH was snorring all night.
Washing on the line and DW emptied.
Plan to carry on working on my list - all ironing done so just today's little bit this evening.
Do a bit of baking. Focus for next week will be paperwork/emails so I think I'll make that my MACAW - do I make one change and follow it through for the whole week? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks for all the congrats and well dones. I went to bed from about 10am-12.30 when I got in, then DH woke me so I could have a bath and we could go to starbucks for lunch! Then I sorted the MrT order but was so tired afterwards that I slept from 3.30pm til DH woke me at 6.30pm, then we had dinner and watched tv and I ended up back in bed at 10.30 until 8.45am this morning! So hopefully I’ve well and truly caught up. Am surprised how much extra sleep I needed, I guess the physical tiredness from the walking as well as the lack of sleep!
Soappie - thank God for your nephew. How awful for that to go on at those camps. Red Kites have been really successfully reintroduced which is fab – awesome to see one so close.
Julie – if it’s the first time you’ve been charged its worth phoning them, even claim that the bill didn’t arrive for ages or something. I’ve found you can usually get at least half the charge removed, it happened to me a couple of times for exactly the same reasons. DH deals with them as soon as they come in now, good thing about being married to an accountant!
DH still asleep, he has a nasty cold and didn’t sleep well, I vaguely remember him getting up again about 12.30 and saying he couldn’t sleep so he was getting up, but at some point he must’ve come back to bed as he was there when I woke up! Not a lot of cleaning I can do until he gets up though as don’t want to wake him!
My list for today – nothing much has been done all week, though it has been kept pretty tidy and DH swiffered all the floors yesterday whilst I was asleep so I can get away without hoovering them then J I’m just gonna do the bare minimum to get it ok for a week at work, and I’ll try and fly properly – a bit each day – this week.
WM – clothes
WM – towels & cloths
WM bedding
Water plants
Bedroom – strip bed, change to thicker duvet, wipe surfaces, get DH to move his carp, hoover, tidy clothes rack
Bathroom – loo, tiles, bath, sink, shelf
Kitchen - S&S, wash up, sweep floor
Lounge – tidy coffee table, hoover,Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Kazmeister I do save receipts - but not for food - anything bigger (inc CDs from Morris0ns - I do save them. I have an envelope for the year and a separate envelope for xmas pressies and then they go off and be filed for a while...
Juliejim re the CC (sounds like Barcl4ys if it's 9th - got lots, me!) I bank online and have a facility where I can put in a payment to be deducted at a future date...just do the amount and date - or you could set up a DD for the minimum then that's always paid. In an effort to be organised I have set up two payments to come out on payday which is earlier han necessary - but any payment made early reduces interest. ATM I have 3
one of which is interest free (bank already mentioned), and two I am paying off on, s-l-o-w-l-y I would add 'em up and put the total on my siggy but then I'd be even more depressed...mind you one of them is under [STRIKE]£200 [/STRIKE]
no it's nearer £300:eek: so with a bit of effort I will defo have cleared before xmas...
No - I am biting the bullet - SIGGY UPDATED I WILL FOCUS ON WHAT I NEED TO DODon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
