Ignore and then ignore the follow up letter. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

Yes, as always ignore. If you were genuinely in Sainsburys for that period you could write a stern letter to the manager or head office about how disgusted you are at the treatment of a customer and take it to the local press.0

Hi.
Probably going over old ground, but got a ticket off Town & City Parking, whilst in Sainsbury's today. Stopped 2 1/2 hours as opposed to 2. Got the ticket. £60 reduced to £30 if paid now.
Ignore?:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

The bottom line is that you/OH parked in a disabled bay and you werent displaying a diabled badge
But as the land was private, doesn't the badge only apply to use on public highways and is governed by their relevant laws?
A disabled bay in a supermarket car park is not a public highway and I wonder if the Asda car park signage indicated that the bay was restricted to badge holders or just had symbols painted in the bays.
Just to add - I abhor abled bodied people who use disabled bays.0 -

Doesn't matter - I suspect people are still using disabled parking bays and still getting tickets for doing so.0 -
hi there,
we have also unfortunately been hit with a notice....for being there (ASDA carpark) a bit too long! (half an hour if limit is 2 hrs). they have also addressed the notice to my address but with one bit of very important information being incorrect....
notice is addressed to Mr, not Ms...Any legal suggestions to challenge having to pay £60.00. Any responses appreciated. The company serving the notice is town and city parking. any other experiences from others out there?0 -

Just ignore it completely - and the same for all the follow-up from fake debt collectors and solicitors. Do not contact them and do not challenge anything. The less contact you have, the sooner they will give-up.
Have a look at the forum sticky in the parking subforum for a full illustration of the scam letter chain and you can check-out many threads about these chancers whilst you are at it.0
