Ynot 'there will be no problem with the accomodation because they paid for it.'....NOT TRUE...Medlife Hotels (who I know loads of companies such as Co-Op Travel etc used)

I don't agree that loads of companies used Medlife hotels, they were one of the lesser known accommodation only companies in the market. Some agents did use them but only as a last resort.

I do need to point out that Medlife and Medhotels are completely different companies. Medhotels are nothing to do with the XL group, Medhotels are part of the Lastminute group.

Travelman your attitude really isn't helping people you are hardly being sympathetic to people and the situation they find themselves in.

Do you have anything nice to say, or are you just here to revel in the misfortune in others?

Kayjay, I don't know much about Olympic but Monarch are sound. No danger with that airline.
Travelman, your postings are degenerating into the ramblings of someone very bitter and twisted. Your way is not the only way.

  • yeah travelman its not all about moneysaving, if you had paid an extra £100 you would have got the full ATOL protected nightmare in dozens of airports/resorts as we speak

Had someone call me a week ago-we were £40 dearer than xl.com-I discounted down to the '£40 dearer' (for a family of 4!) & they turned me down-choosing to save £40. They were from MSE. They booked with a maestro card-NO monies back from xl-70% canx. charge from the accom supplier.

    IS THIS MONEYSAVING???!

Although if they didn't book with you I'm not quite sure how you know they booked with a maestro card, just a week ago
  • Because they made a point of asking if there was a 'booking fee' to use a maestro.
