Hi all,
First off had a great shopping trip in Boots again today! I got 3 no7 large light up mirrors for £19.98!!!! There normally £40 each so £120 worth for £19!!!
Theres a glicth on, no7 is 3 for 2 at mo, so 1 mirror went through as free but at full price so took £40 off the total price making it £19.98 to pay!
So thats 1 for me, 1 for my SIL xmas present & 1 for OH's mums xmas present. OH is gonna pay me £10 for his mum's one. So my 2 will only have cost me £10! :T
Also went to post office to pay my 12 months car tax....£185Its the first time i have ever been able to afford a year instead of 6 months!
Then went to barclays to pay £15 of ebay fees.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Your so good with these boots glitches Maria. Do you get all the tips from the boots thread? i keep losing track where that thread is because it changes every week i think. I must log on more and check because i love boots glitches, especially with Christmas coming up. I might check if that glitch works online. Thank you!!!
How are you anyways Maria? i was reading about you enjoying yourself more and not concentrating so much on getting a house. You only live once unfortuantely, so have as much fun as you can now your debt free, then start saving for a house and a family. It would be better to start once your OH is debt free anyways? Do you enjoy going to London to watch shows at the theatre? a nice meal etc? always a nice way to spend an evening. I'm 24 and feel old to go clubbing etc, do you feel like that? prefer a nice meal out and a bar for a few drinks.0 -
Yeah its all on the current boots thread. all no7 electricals are going through 3for1 bacially, mancuire sets, pedicure, massagers, eyelash curlers etc. Very handy for xmas presents indeed!:D
Yes i have decided i am putting far too much pressure on me and OH on buying a house ASAP. I had turned into a moaning 50 year old telling OH off if he brought a £1 bag of chips even! Plus im beginging to look like a 50 year old! As havent brought any nice clothes for ages or haircuts etc.
So instead of me saving all my wages and trying not to spend any money on anything im going to do a proper budget and save a certain amount each month and leave a certain amount to spend on having a life/looking good!:D
Yes im the same i did the whole clubbing and bars crawls every night when i was younger and not interested in that now. I have never been to a theatre before. Im thinking along the lines of meals out with friends (sex in the city style!):o and OH, and we're going to try out Golf! and get back into going squash again. Also i really want to go see Jimmy carr or Lee evans live.
I just want to get a couple of hobbies to get me out more as im always on here!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Yeah i'm totally the same, i have just started up spinning again as i used to do that a lot months ago, then stopped going for some reason, which was a shame as a love it. Meals out with friends etc is so much better than clubbing and falling out of clubs at 3am lol. My OH and I went away for the weekend and had golf lessons at a posh hotel, it was a fab experience. I didn;t really pick up golf that well, i think that was more to do with the gorgeous instructor lol. I spent more time eyeing him up than looking at the ball and where i was hitting.
I looked at Lee Evans at the O2 a few months back, the tickets were coming up as £150+ EACH, it was so espensive. He is sooo funny though, def worth the money.
I'm going to check out the boots website now, see if i can get a few early crimbo pressies, and maybe spend £40 and get 500 points too!!!
Can you believe i'm still yet to buy my GHD's, i have though promised myself i will get them ordered this weekend. I think booking holidays and spending lots of money on that has stopped me. But my straightners i have now are useless, badly in need of a good pair that don't ruin my hair. Are you still enjoying your pair?0 -
£150 each for Lee Evans  oh my, thats too much for me deffo!
What's spinning?
Its my OH thats wants to take up golf and drag me along with him. He used to go the golf range and i cant even hold the club let alone hit the ball!
Squash i love though and its only £6 for 45 mins so not a bad price.
All the no7 electricals are out of stock online all the MSE'rs have nabbed them all!:D
Well ive noticed with these GHD's they make my hair go static!! Which isnt great, i dont know why. The old ones never did that. But they still do a great job.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Spinning is on the bikes. Its like an indoor cycling programme. You do so much on the bike. You dont actually ride anywhere, its all either standing up on the bike, or sitting down, but its a bloody good work out, great fun too. Your local gym might offer spinning classes? its worth looking into.
I like the look of squash, and my OH enjoys squash, but i know he wouldn't go with me, i'd be constantly scraming if the ball came near me, and i'd prob come home with black eyes lol. I bet it really does knacker you out?
No no7 electricals, bloody MSE'rs, that serves me right for not looking on the boots thread in ages.
Ahhh, thanks for the GHD advice. Maybe i will leave the pure ones and just get the normal GHD IV syler, as its exactly the same as the pure ones, all the same functions, like it turns itself off after half an hour, and the voltage thing in other countries i like the sound of. Plus, the normal ones are cheaper, prob because they are not limited edition ones.0 -
