Hi Maria,
The apartment looks really nice, an ideal place to start the property ladder with. If you have worked out all the sums, and you can afford it, then go for it hun. You regulary moan (said in the nicest possible way) you hate being at home, and can't wait to move, so why not go for it? you have the deposit a lot of mortgage companies are looking for at the mo. If you are still a little bit worried, do a bit of research into the shared ownership scheme. Good thing about new builds is you can move into them straight away and not have to do very much. How long does it take you now to get to work? and how much would the extra miles cost you in petrol?
I managed to sell my Virgin voucher for £45, and i think most V vouchers are going for the same amount - tis really good :j
I can't blame you for hating lakeside, it really does get very busy. I only really go to visit Primark, and i tend to get there around 9am if i do go.
Well done again on the savings, thats building up nicely, just really sucks at the mo the interest rates- not fair on us who are saving.

hi maria, the flat looks nice but if you are thinking of starting a family i think buying a house with a nice little garden would be much better. we bought a 2 bed flat but regretted buying a flat later when my son was born as i yearned to sit out in the garden and play with him in the summer, eventualy we moved to a house but wish we had done that in the first place as so many people advised us to do this xxx

We were too late for the new build! I got a call this morning saying it was no longer for sale.:(
....never mind.
I had researched the area it wasnt really suitable to start a family as there was no bus's for quite a walk, no schools or nursey's nearest were 6 miles away in the closest town which had about 8 shops ive never heard of! So in the long run it probably wouldnt of been a good choice place to live. The lady did say there were another 2 2 bed flats on the same road but in a block of flats. But i said i wasnt interested in them, just the apartment.
Poppy: I would love to buy a place with a garden but on our budget i dont think we will be able to. We can only afford flats/masionettes.
Hayley: Me always moaning! Lol, i get it from my dad!:o hehe! Yeah we've got a deposit just wish we had a clear credit history it would make things alot easier!
We do have our eye on another property though, i wont say anything about it until after we've looked at it this time. I dont want to jinx it! I will say its only £74k though!:cool:Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Anyway on the money side of things it was payday today! yay!
So i paid in £100 into ISA so my total is now £3310:)
New deposit total £14,010:)
Shopandscan have just credited my points so ive ordered a £10 Argos voucher:)
And the Tesco behind my work have built a new recycling centre, for every 2 cans they give you 1 point, you chuck your cans in the machine counts them you scan your card and it puts the points on! Pretty good if you ask me as people will be recycling them now just for the points!
I might start collecting cans thrown out in the rooms at work and recycle them every week for the points!:)Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

Evening all,
My MOT runs out end of April and i know it needs a new shock as ive put it off for 2 years now its got worse and deffo needs replacing before this MOT so i got a quote to replace both front shocks as they advise to replace the pair. £200 then MOT £45. And i may also need a new tyre as that shock has made it wear down around the edge. But i may get away with it as its just the edge the rest has plenty of tread as all 4 tyres are quite new!
So thats say £250 for that then hopefully it wont fail on anything esle. So thats booked for 30th march. And i have 19 days holiday left before new tax year! So im taking the week off from 30th! Lovely!:D Im going to carry the rest of the holiday over.
I spent £1.50 of Lunchoen vouchers on a massive bar of whole nut choccy! Which im tucking into right now. Mums fault i had to take her to Asda after picking her up from my nephews.
I must list more things on ebay in a minute, my other auctions i listed yesterday end on friday.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

hello all,
I havent been on here a while,i thought i best update!
I brought a laptop sony vaio light pink with white keys it was £455 on amazon. After vouchers and money i made from selling my virgin voucher it cost me £320 of my own money. So not bad really and well worth the money...i think anyway!
Now my dad cant moan at me for being on his PC all the time.
Now i have this laptop and wireless conection i can join some online courses i looked into ages ago! whoo! I had to buy a USB adapter for the PC so it could go on wireless which cost £20.
I also went shopping and brought two pairs of skinny jeans from next costing £50! Then dog food £46!
So ive spent alot this week! It all gone on my credit card too so i get asda points for it. Dont worry it will be paid off in full when the bill arrives.
Ive also claimed another £15 worth of vouchers this week. £10 argos from shopandscan, £5 amazon. The rest of my ebay items sold for £25, although im still waiting for payment from two of the buyers.
My OH took his car to peugeot who put it on the diaog and found out what sensor was causing the ABS fault and also found out two of his springs were cracked...about the snap in fact! he had to sign papers to say peuegot told him the car was too dangerous to drive before they let him have the car back! So that cost him £35. Then sensor cost £40 and two spings cost £60 and he will fit this all himself at the weekend and then get it MOT'd!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Hello Maria
Well done on you treating yourself chick, you deserved a treat. Its so much easier with a laptop isn't it, your laptop sounds great. Have you signed up to any courses yet?
Well done on the ebay sales, that reminds me i must list some more stuff this weekend.
The skinny jeans sound fab - i love skinny jeans. I need some more so i may check out Next, i love Next, we have their catalogue and their home range is just soo pretty, i want everything. Lovin' the purple look, and the green look.
If only it wasn't so expensive.
Much planned for the weekend Maria?
