Me spend more than £30 on my hair!.....never! I am getting it cut before christmas but i wont have it coloured by a hairdresser as it costs over £100 just for colour as my hair is so long. Theres no way i would pay that every 6 weeks, im far too tight!:)

3 months thats good! My last cut was nov 07!!!!! You can imagine how my hair looks now! Actually its not too bad as mum trims it and i feather it. Its just the layers she cant cut so there a little split ended but nearly all grow out now! I hope my normal hairdresser is still there...i go to supercuts where you walk in and wait. There really good there but dont do colouring.

  • Hi mariagti

£30 just for a wash and cut? Gosh thats alot. Have you thought about trying your local college hairdressing department? They are obviously trainees but they are well supervised and if its only a trim £30 seems alot to pay. If your colour has gone wrong maybe they could sort that for you too?

    Afternoon,

I had an email from Tesco panels today to say i have been selected to test there products! yay! I cant wait...roll on the trials!:D :j

Also postie brought me 4 different perfumes samples from the perfume shop, jasper conran, dior and D&G. All very nice 2 mens and 2 womens.

And i cant quite believe im saying this but OH and me are going to look into shared ownership!!! I know for the past year ive been saying no way i dont want to do that but ive been looking at a few and it looks a good way to get on the ladder, better than just renting and getting nothing for it. mychoicehomebuy everyone has had problems with so im not going to try that.

Theres a 2 bed flat £140,000 50% share so we need a mortgage for £70 minus the deposit so we would need £60 lets say. You have to be earning £21k a year we're earning £23k so no problem.

Rent and service charge is £175
Then mortgage is around £390- £410 so £585 max a month on rent. Which is cheaper than renting a 2 bed flat around here!

Only down side is the value of the flat at £140,000 (its a new build) its expensive and would probably lose more value. Would i be a fool to buy now? ( i think i no the answer to that!) But how long can i stand my dad's moaning for? And i cant wait forever i need a home to start a family!

    Hi KM,

Good moneysaving idea but im not very good when it comes to hairdressers after some girl chopped off my locks once. So i like to stick where i know and to the same hairdresser! I suppose i could have a dry cut as they told me long hair gets charged more as its takes longer to wash and dry...oh and straighten! But its not often i go there so always have a wash and cut.

Ive just had a look on rightmove and a town 10 miles from mine and theres a 3 bed house for £118k!!!! So i know to buy a 2 bed flat for £140k is madness. Ah!!!!

The most the banks will lend us is £94k plus our £10k we could afford £104k...i wonder if they would knock more off the price? ;)
