Hi all,
I still havent got round the listing those bits on ebay yet. I dont want to list anything till the evening, as i want my items to end in the evening. But my mum goes on net in evenings now plus im really into Big Cat Diarys live at the mo. But i MUST make the effort and list them asap!
Done 2 hours overtime today, and im feeling tired, we have 3 other chambermaids off at the moment and will have for 2 more weeks, which leaves 3 of us to do 4 other peoples jobs aswell as our own, we dont have a housekeeper anymore so we do that job too. The housekeeper left over a year ago, when people leave now at work they dont replace them, we just get the extra work for no extra pay!
OH has been having serious chats with me about starting a family now. Out of the blue he text me the other day saying ' Lets have a baby, lets stop talking about it and just do it esle we never will! ' Which put my head in a total spin of what to do. We both want a baby so much, and have come to the conclusion we want to start a family now while young, more than owning our own home.
We have lots to talk about at the weekend but we're thinking along the lines of renting a place & having a baby. Keeping the 10k safely locked away making interest. We would like me to stay at home with baby for lets say 1 year (while doing say an evening cleaning job or any part time job). Then after 1 year i would go back to work full time by then hopefully the houses prices would be nice and affordable and we will still have the £10k as a deposit and 2 wages for a mortgage. Anyway thats the rough idea we've talked about, we will have a proper chat and work things out money wise etc at the weekend. We're not going to rush into it straight away!

Hi Maria,
It sounds like you are doing well, the ISA is coming along nicely hun.
Good luck with whatever you decide re starting a family, you and your partner sound ready, and you will make a great mum by the sounds of it. Maybe rent for a while like you said, let the housing trouble settle a little, and then buy your place together? would your parents mind you being at home whilst pregnant? that way you could both save quite a bit of money before the little un arrives, or would you prefer living with your OH so you could go thru the pregnancy together? every little step of the way.

Evening all,
Well did 1 hour extra at work today again. It all helps
Just had a look on my Valued Opinions balance and all i need is 40p to get a £10 voucher. They seemed to have stopped sending me surveys.
Been talking to my OH and he has decided to trade in his beloved focus ST for a more suitable car AGAIN! Hopefully this time he will stick to it. He wants to cut his car running bills down and get a larger car (family car!). We've got a few insurance quotes for the car he wants now and its only £300 to insure which is a huge saving from the £1k he paid on current car! We've just got to check out the tax price and MPG.
He debts are right down now, He has £400 loan left and £600 credit card. I offered him my £400 from my ISA to pay off loan early but he didnt want it! I would rather him borrow it and pay it off early. But he wont take it.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

Lilmiss- he was going to exchange it for a 2nd hand car on dealership but...
We spent most the day going round dealerships all round essex then found a car he wanted in Romford at Ford. It was a 2005 vectra easy on fuel, tax and insurance. It was only up for £4k so he asked how much they would give him for his ford foucs ST170 and they said £2,400!!! He brought that for £5,500 10 months ago! Salemen said engines over a 1.6 arent worth anything now because of the new tax prices. We could get at least £3,200 privately selling so OH said no in the end. Makes me laugh on the paper he showed us stating the price they would give us it also said they price they would put it up for on the forecourt....£4,400! I was quite cheeky with the salesman and pointed it out but he said they've got to make a profit!
So looks like the focus will be staying for a while longer now.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
