Slasher might tilt a bit more toward the egg card though because it gives 0% for 6 months then 0% for 5 months in 2005, 2006. (That's 0% for 16months, just spread out a little). 8)0

I'm still not wholly convinced by the Egg card. It has some advantages but I'm not sure whether holding the card during the times when it has none is outweighed by the times when it does. Obviously everyone is different but if I have a high limit on a card for more than half the year going unused I start to ask is it worth it?0

But if it's in a savings account - it's earning you interest - which is what sbt's are all about - aren't they???if i had known then what i know now0 -
I'd like to ask who has taken out the most cards to do sbt's? What's the total amount you've managed to 'borrow' and what was the consequent 'earnings' and did you manage to keep all the cards in the air without dropping any? (ie. ending up paying interest)if i had known then what i know now0

I've got the Egg card on 0% bt for 9 months - does this mean I can bt with them again at the end of the 9 months ?if i had known then what i know now0 -
Hi luv_my_brass. With Egg you get 5 months 0% for balance transfers made in the anniversary month of when you opened your account. This means when your 9 months period is over, you need to wait 3 months and then you'll get 0% for 5 months. One year after that you will get 0% for 5 months again. Then it stops.0
