This is interesting, I received a similar email from R H Client Solutions based at the same address in Leeds. It went like this:
"Congratulations on being selected to attend our first meetings with our applicants on 31/10/2011 at 2:00 PM.
On arrival at our Office, you will be presented a brief application form, which you will be required to complete. You will then have a fairly informal appointment with one of our managers, where you will be asked to provide an insight into your previous roles and responsibilities and how those experiences could benefit our company. You will also be given an outline of the history of our company, the services we provide for our clients and where you could fit in to our goals for the future. It is always a good idea to bring a copy of a CV along with you.
We look forward to meeting you in person. If you have any issues crop up, that could prevent you from attending, please don't hesitate to call and we will try our best to provide an alternate date.
Below are directions.
From Leeds Train station;
Turn left onto Wellington Street and walk through city square (Having the queens hotel behind you) Turn left onto East Parade walk, passing the Park Plaza Leeds and walking through a very small bus station, at the end turn right onto East Parade and follow the road down to the end. We are located next to Sams Chop House and are directly opposite Greggs the bakers.
From the Leeds Bus Station;
Leave the bus station to the right and turn left down George street passing kirkgate market on your left. At the end of George street turn right onto Vicar Lane, then turn left onto the Headrow and follow this all the way to the Town Hall (This will be on your Right hand side but stay to the left of the road) Turn Left onto East Parade we are located next door to Mr Foleys.
Follow the road onto Commercial street pass Starbucks and head towards Bond street, at the end of Bond street turn right onto Park Row, follow the road down and Turn Left onto south parade, at the end of South Parade turn right and we are located next door to Sam’s Chop House.
Below I have included a link to Google Maps which pin points our exact location:
Finally, on arrival at our premises please use the buzzer entitled "Marketing Suite" to enter the building.
If you need any extra help with directions please do not hesitate to call.
Kind Regards

I checked them out after a near miss in the past with Career Jobs UK. It seems these companies trick people into giving bank details then change their name when they're found out. I now luckily have a real job with a real company! Good luck to everyone still searching our country really is in a sorry state at the moment.
Remember a job which sounds easy to get is usually fake. Jobs are very hard to get and you need to get out there and apply to real shops and offices. Clicking on job ads on the internet with unknown companies will probably get you nowhere.
I wonder if Sam's Chop House and Mr Foleys know they are being used as part of this scam?! Also check out the spelling mistakes on the United Leeds Endeavours website. They claim to help companies with marketing campaigns!! I would find it funny if they weren't taking advantage of jobseekers.0 -
Went for an interview for a Marketing Assistant position with United Leeds Endeavours. As soon as I got there, I felt something was not right. It felt like I had walked into a doctor's surgery! Anyway, I decided to attend the interview, and tried to figure out where and how the company was established as this was not clear on the company website. The person who interviewed me (whose name I didn't get) said that the organisation originated from the US and had now come to Leeds! So then I asked if it was a subsidiary company...she didn't give a clear answer...I don't think she knew what one was! She was attempting to explain how the company operates, but I just didn't understand the structure. She then said that all my questions would be answered in a 2nd interview...which i will not be attending!
James is the managing director who I thought I would be interviewed by, but did not get to meet.
I have attended a couple of interviews previous to this one, and everything about the company is unprofessional including the way the interview was conducted...I felt like I was the one interviewing!0 -
ETM owned by ryan hudson is the same. they work for sky but have lost their contract because they used too force people to buy sky from them once while i was working there, there was boy who literally forced an old lady in her 90s to buy sky and got her a hd package even when she didnt have a tv and sold her a phoneline and broadband fully knowing she had a heart condition and the phone was attached to an alarm if anything happened to her it would go off. horrible owners but nice people work there. thankfully i work for a stationary supplier now.0

I applied for the Junior Sales opening and have an interview next week in Leeds. I've been told to read up on their press releases off of the website. I don't understand what they actually do or who they are.0

Ok after reading through this thread, I get it...frikking con artists!0

My daughter just received a call from PrimusUK for an interview this afternoon. She only applied yesterday.
Thank God I did a little research and found this thread as a few others while googling 'PrimusUK scam'0 -
Found another one of these chump companies
Mantra Marketing
26 BALDWIN STREET
BRISTOL
ENGLAND
BS1 1SE
Company No. 03942260
Offices in: Bristol (x2), Ipswich, Maidstone (x2), Plymouth (x2), Glasgow, Madrid, Barcelona (x2) & Alicante (according to their website)
I've recently been made unemployed after 14 years of unbroken career history and in desperation, I applied for a job on Reed offering £250 - £500 per week - Average Earnings! Blah blah blah. This is out of sheer desperation might I add because I'm one of those unlucky individuals who've worked and paid tax all their life, have no dependents, disabilities or addictions and therefore entitled to pittance help when I really need it just to even keep my independence
IMMEDIATE STARTS DUE TO DEMAND!!
Want to do something FUN and EXCITING? Are you looking for a fresh start?
In fairness, I know sales wasn't for me but I applied anyway along with more sensibly chosen jobs that actually reflect my career (desperation can do funny things to your common sense) and am now waiting for the phone call/email inviting me for an interview.
I decided to do a google on the job reference number which started EMP and lo and behold after tapping in EMP Marketing in my area, Mantra Marketing popped up and I decided to do a little research. I've already found a few threads on google about this company, and if anyone chooses to check out their website mantramarketinggroup.co.uk (can't add links yet) it's hilarious! Half of the website is nothing but employee testimonies on how great it is to work for them and swiftly become a 'manager' under their development program. The other half is filled with the stereotypical inane group of young and wealthy 'professionals' grinning like monkeys in a zoo whilst allegedly in Madrid together enjoying the fruits of working for such a wonderful company. Yawn.
Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences of these dodgy 'Direct Marketing' companies! I'm literally counting every penny atm, waiting for invites to interviews and I could not have afforded the waste of petrol costs travelling to this pointless place.
I'm now waiting for the phonecall/email on Monday from them inviting me for an interviewI might ask a few pertinent questions to whoever invites me (so, is this door-to-door? Will I be self employed?) just to see if they've got the balls to own up to it before interview. I'm going through relative hell right now in the finances/life situation, might as well find some humour in it
EDIT : I've just realised that they are associated with the Appco Group, formally known as Cobra. Avoid at all costs0 -
Well after a recent redundancy, I was out job searching and sent my CV off to a number of agencies. I answered one looking for sales and marketing people 30-40K....
I was given an interview within a day and then called back 1st thing the next morning for a 2nd interview with the MD. A few alarm bells went off, the MD of a company of that size wants to see little old me for an interview???. Later that evening I was offered a job (all within 48 hours from first contact) I was sent an email with the details of what I needed to bring to my start day in a week or so's time. No mention of salary, bonus, commision etc. Basically they are just chuggers (Charity Muggers) accosting people at their homes of an evening. I declined their most gracious offer.
So I did some digging around and ended up here. I have not read all of the thread, so I am not sure if I am going over ground already covered. I can save you money, by your not spending money on transport fares, fuel, parking or shoe leather. Here are their details:0 -
Blackrock Advertising & Marketing
Andrew Delbrige (the MD)
The sidekick: Katy Giguere
01202 559800
Alas as I am a newbie, I can't post links to their facebook, or pictures of the 2 accused. I understand about spambots (I moderate a forum on a different subject) But their facebook is open for viewing0 -
I have just had a phone call from then MD Andrew Deldridge, he took great umbridge to my calling him a charity mugger (chugger) He went on about the 30 million raised each year worldwide for charities. I just said that he is taking advantage of the current downturn and he will get found out and I am going to make it my mission to do that. Fair play to him for calling me back, he's brave at least, I think I hurt his feelings
The website was talking loud and saying nothing, utter con artists. I will admit that it was slick and the offices looked nice, but it reminded me of a website called "we do stuff" (Do a Google search for it) Thankfully I didn't have to travel too far, or incure too many expenses, probably £20 all in.
Please folk, avoid BlackRock Advertising like the plague.0
