they have now changed the PDF to clear up any confusion.

  • Its a 24 month contract, redeemable at months 12, 18 and 24. Only first 18 months are free, last 6 are charged at £29 a month.

where does it say that it's a 24 month contract? I can only find details of it being an 18 contract
  • Click on the offer, click on the jpeg that says Free Line rental for 18 months,
    Download the coupon

    "£145.00 CHEQUEBACK – AVAILABLE AFTER 24 MONTHS.......
To claim please send a copy of your receipt, 19th & 24th month airtime bill and this portion of the form completed to: ....."

ALWAYS read the small print. This one is particularly nasty as its hidden in the PDF.

  • The banner says its an 18 month contract
  • no this is an 18 month contract ... but you cant claim yous last cashback untill month24 .... same idea as they were doing with the 12/18 month deal on the 6630
THESE ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS ……
    ..…JUST WAIT AND SEE

The heading on the home page clearly says it's an 18 month contract. So you can cancel after 18 months but you still have to wait till 24 months for your last cashback.

    I think.

  • But the catch is, if you cancel you won't have a month 24 airtime bill to send in tp claim the cash back (or the 19th for that matter).

So 18th month contract but you need to keep it going to get all the cash back
  • Good spot notagain
Very sneakily hidden in PDF that need a 19th and 24th bill i.e stay connected for 24 months at least despite stating 18 month contract

    Sharp practice IMHO
You know what... you can't beat a good bargain!!!

I'm going to write to them and tell them that I feel that they are indulging in sharp practise.

I think that they should remove this misleading ad. If they don't remove it, I propose to refer it to Trading Standards.

Yes this is sharp practise and I got slifgtlt caught out on their K750i offer 2 weeks ago showinf 12 months line rental for 4.99 which seemed to good to be true. In such cases they ofteen are especially with mobile phone contracts in the end over 18 months it worked out at £10 which is still not bad for a top phone with 200min.

I did a search found their corporate accounts and sent a nice email to the directors telling them what I thought still took 2 days to get a BOGOF reply.

    READ THE SMALL PRINT.
