I sympathise, I went through a crafty stage a few years ago when I tried making and selling jewellery. I didn't do too badly, I made back my costs, but I've got loads of beads and things just hanging around. I've decided to ebay it, I've got a list of things I want to ebay, I'll be doing clothes next month and probably crafty stuff the month after.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Ooh, BB the storm must be overhead! I still count seconds between lightening and thunder to see how far away the storm is.

Ames & Luc - It's not that I'm into crafty pursuits, more I've always fiddled with my fingers so granny taught me to do things with them. I much prefer cross stitch but I wouldn't let a child, let alone a baby, near that; so knitting it is for the time being.

I'd be okay as I have SOME restraint but Mum just keeps buying me more and more stuff... Its all going in the loft bar the knitting/crochet to accommodate Bean plus I don't really want glue and scissors lying about for the first few months

Ah now I don't have that problem and not likely to for at least the foreseeable future!

You need to be careful around here though - the baby thing seems to be spreading a little...
